I only did half the work out today. Plyometrics was not easy by any means, and my legs gave out after half an hour. I'm okay with it though, I just keep reminding myself that I will get better and stronger as I continue and stick with the program.

Tomorrow is shoulders and arms. I'm really sore in my chest area from yesterday's exercises, and I'm sure my legs are going to rebel on me tomorrow. I guess it's good that I'm working on something... Sun, 30 Dec 2012 20:09:29 EST Day One http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5180147 I said I would start blogging my P90X experience, and here I am.

Today was working on chest & back, and then ab ripper.

I learned the following things: I cannot do a push up, I cannot do a chin up, and I cannot do a proper sit up. I have no upper body strength, so this was really hard for me. The biggest thing that kept me going was the little timer on the bottom of the screen that told me how much longer I had to go.

But I stuck with it, and I actually felt... Sat, 29 Dec 2012 19:22:20 EST Reality Check http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5179250 40

I have been slacking. Hard core. I haven't been running, I have been eating like crap, and basically, I've been sitting on the couch for the last few months. I knew things were getting bad: I looked squishier than I used too, my clothes are getting tighter, but I just explained it all away, saying that I really hadn't gained much weight, I'm still only a size 12 (not 18 like before), it's only one size difference from my smallest ever, it just hasn't gotten that b... Fri, 28 Dec 2012 21:12:25 EST Am I the Only One? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4987090 Answer me this: am I the only person that yells at myself when running? I tell myself stupid things like, "Don't be a lazy ass, pick up your damn feet and RUN!" or, "You're NOT going to be the person that WALKS across the finish line, so get a f***ing MOVE ON!" (Yes, I have a potty mouth.) Does anyone else do this? If you do, does it help? I think it helps me. At least, I do end up moving a bit faster.

You know what else helps? Music. Holy crap, I never knew. I just got my... Wed, 25 Jul 2012 22:44:51 EST A Wrench in the Works http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4949528 Remember when I said I was all achy and whatever from my ill-thought-out plan of sliding into third base? Well today I paid for it.

I was at Fairy Fest in Windsor today, and I fell on a hill. Shouldn't have been a big deal, but I was already sore. What ended up happening was I completely strained my muscle in my right thigh. To the point that I had to got to the walk-in and get prescription muscle relaxants. Just popped one, hoping that it does its thing and I feel better rea... Sat, 30 Jun 2012 22:15:50 EST Today is My Day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4948334 Yes, it really is my day today. As in, today is my birthday.

I ate terribly. My co-workers, God bless them all, went all-out for my birthday. They brought me in muffins for breakfast, pizza, taco dip, and fruit for lunch, and I went to Texas Roadhouse with my girls for dinner. I ate little bits, and I drank water all day, so I guess it could have been worse. And birthday calories shouldn't count anyway (I know, they do, but a girl can dream, can't she?).

That being ... Fri, 29 Jun 2012 22:56:44 EST My Beginning http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4932190 My beginning actually starts with a race.

Yesterday, I went with two friends of mine, Julie and Gwen, to the Warrior Dash in Pennsylvania. I hadn't really trained for it AT ALL. Some walking here and there, and not much else. I didn't go into it expecting anything other than finishing.

We started the day quite clean:

We got there about two hours before our scheduled wave, so we reg...
