I would work out on and off and eat healthy one day then unhealthy the next. Luckily, I stayed about the same weight I left off at. I'm 150 lbs now, and I was previously about 146. I want to finally lose the weight and reach my goal weight of 125-130lbs. I'm going to try to reach my goal by the end of August, which will be just in time for back to school.

Goals:
-Eat at least 5 servings every day
-Exercise for a... Mon, 2 Jun 2014 13:17:43 EST Day 581- Almost time for college http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5444140 I leave for college August 15th. I can't wait! I really wanted to be my goal weight, but that's probably not going to happen. I'm currently 146.6 lbs and want to be 130 lbs.

I just got back from the beach yesterday. After a week of not tracking or exercising, I didn't have much change in my weight. I hope to get back on track this week and at least get to 140 lbs before college. Sun, 4 Aug 2013 12:06:17 EST Day 547- Weight gain & July goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5407688 This May I was around 143.8 lbs. I'm now 147.2 lbs. Not much of a difference, but it's still a gain. I feel like I lose weight slowly, so this setback might affect me reaching my goal of 130 lbs by August 15th.

I took a little break from SparkPeople, which is definitely the cause of the gain. I stopped tracking what I was eating and ate more and more. So to get back on track, I set up July goals for me to reach:

-Follow the BeFit 90 program
-Track EVERY thing I eat... Mon, 1 Jul 2013 16:54:42 EST Day 545- Tracking food http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5405542 I've really been slacking when it comes to tracking my food. I only use the QuickTrack feature on the Start page to track my exercise. I just can't find the motivation to track. I'm usually disappointed when I see how many calories I'm eating anyways. I find it so difficult to start eating healthy again after taking a break.

Does anyone have any advice for getting back on track with tracking? Sat, 29 Jun 2013 14:14:29 EST Day 543- BeFit 90 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5403526 I still have 15 lbs to lose until I reach my goal weight. After hearing about the BeFit 90 program from a fellow Sparker, I've decided to try it. I have now finished Day 5 of the 90 day program.

So far, I really like it. The videos are easy to follow and really kick my butt sometimes. Rest days are factored in so I don't feel too overwhelmed. Thu, 27 Jun 2013 12:20:17 EST Day 533- Back to reality; new challenge programs? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5392452 I recently got back from the beach and I'm ready to get back on track! Does anyone have any new challenge programs for me to try? I want to do something for summer. I leave for college in the fall and I'm hoping to finally reach my goal weight before I leave. Mon, 17 Jun 2013 19:58:10 EST Day 507- Graduating high school http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5364702 My graduation is this Friday. I can't believe how fast time flies. It hasn't really hit me yet that high school is over. My last day of school was this past Monday. A large group of seniors got to go to an amusement park yesterday with the school, myself included. It was a blast. A lot of walking though, which is a good thing.

I really need to get back on track. I've stopped tracking my food and have rarely been exercising. It's practically summer and I still need to lose 13 lbs t... Wed, 22 May 2013 14:38:07 EST Day 485- The trouble with compliments http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5341096 I've lost almost 25 lbs since January 1st, 2013. Not only has my boyfriend and close family noticed, my friends and other people in the same classes at school have noticed. Just today, I received two compliments on how good I've been looking and commenting on my weight loss. Another friend told me how people were talking about how much weight I've lost recently.

Yes, I feel great about people noticing and telling me I look good. However, I question how heavy I looked before. Did I... Tue, 30 Apr 2013 19:17:30 EST Day 482- After prom & weight loss http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5337377 I had such a great time at prom. I posted a picture of me and my boyfriend on here. It was the best dance I've ever been to.

The past couple of weeks I haven't been tracking as much and when I have been tracking, I've been going over on my calories. I also haven't been exercising as much. Despite the weight gain I expected, I'm now down to 144.8. Woohoo!

Senior Dinner Dance, graduation, and summer are coming up. Those are my next big weight loss goal dates. I'd like to... Sat, 27 Apr 2013 14:14:06 EST Day 468- Weigh in tomorrow http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5321905 I feel like I say this in every single blog post. I KEEP GOING OVER MY CALORIE RANGE. I vow to fix it, try harder next week, etc. I never do though. I barely exercised this week either. Needless to say, I'm a little nervous for weigh in tomorrow.

I am finally down to 148 lbs. Not only do I want to stay below this weight, I also want to continue losing more. My mom has noticed, my boyfriend, the rest of my family. I feel really good about myself. I know what I need to do to, yet I'... Sat, 13 Apr 2013 14:44:29 EST Day 462- 30 pound weight loss! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5314674 Today I weighed in at 148 lbs. That's 30 total pounds lost from my highest weight of 178 on 12/28/11. I can't believe how far I've come in almost two years. I've been off and on with my weight loss and goals.

I've been really serious about my weight loss journey recently, and the results are really showing. I'm at my lowest weight I've been since my freshman year of high school. Now that I've come so far, I want to stick with this and see myself reach my goal weight more than ever... Sun, 7 Apr 2013 13:15:45 EST Day 459- Diet trouble http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5311845 I've been sticking with my exercise program pretty well. My only problem is going over on my calorie range. This past week I've ate around 1500-1700 calories and today I had almost 2000. Prom is coming up so fast. Only 15 more days.

I haven't weighed myself since Sunday, but I feel like I've gained some weight. My previous weigh in was at around 149 lbs. I need to get more motivation to cut back on my calories.
Thu, 4 Apr 2013 19:53:01 EST Day 455- 20 days until prom http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5306183 I have 20 days left until prom. I would love to be around 140 lbs by then. I'm currently 151.2. I know that's kind of unrealistic (over 2 lbs per week), but even if I am 145 lbs, I will still be happy.

So with that being said, it's time to bump up my program. Staying within my calorie range every day, exercising faithfully, and sticking with all my other health goals.

I feel like I'm constantly changing my program. So for the next 20 days, I'm going to participate in th... Sun, 31 Mar 2013 10:40:35 EST Day 454- March flying by http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5305474 Only about a month and a half left until my goal date... Where has the past month gone?! I feel like March literally flew by. It's been very slow weight loss, around .5-1 lb. a week.

This past week, I'm almost scared to weigh in. I've barely exercised. I've put in a lot of half workout days. Some days I didn't even exercise at all. I also have increased my calorie uptake this week. Never above 1950 calories though. Although, my goal is around 1200-1500. I expect to see some gain, ... Sat, 30 Mar 2013 15:06:11 EST Day 442- Gym membership? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5291411 I've considered getting a membership at a local gym. I have a one month free trial period. Does anyone have any opinions on their own gyms? Do you prefer working out at gym or at home?

It would kind of change my new workout routine, but I thought it might be worth it on my cardio days. It's still a little cold out to run outside. I could always run on a treadmill at the gym.

I had a weight loss of 1.4 lbs this past week. A little down from my previous week's loss. Stil... Mon, 18 Mar 2013 16:58:09 EST Day 436- New workout routine http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5284261 I'm going to try a new workout routine. Three days a week, I am going to follow the SparkPeople 5k Walk/Jog Program. I tried doing the 5k Your Way program but had to stop because of the colder weather. Since it's warming up now, I thought I'd try again. Three other days of the week, I'm doing the intermediate SparkPeople Total Body Sculpt workout. I decided to save one day for rest. I'm going to follow this plan for around 5 weeks. Just in time for prom!

I'm still having trouble w... Tue, 12 Mar 2013 18:10:35 EST Day 425- Steady 2 lb. weight loss for the past 2 weeks! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5268820 For the past two weeks, I've been losing around 2 lbs each week. This is great compared to previously when I would stay the same or lose very little. I'm now down to around 153, previously 155, and the week before that 157.5. Needless to say, I'm very happy with my progress!

I won the Wii Fit Biggest Loser Challenge. It was cut short, but I still had the highest percentage of weight loss during the challenge. I won a SparkPeople Total Body Sculpting DVD. So far, I love it! I'm stil... Fri, 1 Mar 2013 16:42:42 EST Day 414- Diet trouble http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5255385 I've still been having trouble with how many calories I'm consuming lately. Each day I think that I'm not going to eat as much as the day before, but I still manage to go over on my calories.

I've been looking at motivational articles and pictures to try to pump up my motivation for tomorrow. I know I can do better. Mon, 18 Feb 2013 20:59:48 EST Day 411- Less and less scale results http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5251556 I've been seeing less scale results lately. I gained back a couple of pounds and have only lost .4 lbs of it back off in over a week. I haven't been sticking strictly to my diet. (I have gotten more than my fair share of Valentine's Day candy.) I also have been exercising less consistently. Don't get me wrong. I'm still exercising, doing my cardio and strength training and all that, but it's not as laid out of a plan like when I was still doing the January Bootcamp.

I've been runn... Fri, 15 Feb 2013 12:02:44 EST Day 401- End of January Bootcamp http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239197 The SparkPeople Jumpstart January is over! I haven't decided on a new workout routine to replace it yet. So far, I've just been trying to fit in a variety of cardio and strength training exercises.

I got to pick out my dorm room for next year last night. It was a race to get into a certain dorm on campus. It's one of the best, in my opinion. It was filled almost within 2 hours of my dorm selection period. I feel really lucky about getting in the dorm. I also got to pick my roommat... Tue, 5 Feb 2013 19:33:26 EST Day 396- February Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5232065 Last day of January already. Time flies.

New goals for February:

-Weigh 150 lbs by the end of the month
-Aim for at least 100 minutes of exercise each week
-Eat within calorie range 20 out of the 28 days
-Eat at least 2 servings of fruits or vegetables a day Thu, 31 Jan 2013 17:32:35 EST Dy 394- Sick :( http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5229159 I haven't been feeling too good lately. I haven't gotten much exercise in since Friday. I felt a little bit better today, so I did around a 30 min strength training workout. I'm thinking about going for a walk/run because it's so nice out today, but I don't want to push myself too soon.

On top of not feeling good enough to exercise, I haven't been watching what I'm eating as carefully. I've been going over on my calorie goal the past couple of days. I'm hoping to get back into the... Tue, 29 Jan 2013 18:30:05 EST Day 390- A little over 20 lbs lost! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5223061 CW: 157.4
SW: 178

I decided to go ahead and change my blog days to the actually days I've been trying to achieve my goal weight and ignoring the days I wasn't active on SparkPeople.

It's been a little over a year, and I've lost over 20 lbs! I know that's not a great amount of weight for that long of a time, but factoring in all of the times I've been off and on with eating healthy and exercise, I feel pretty good about it!

I really want to make a change ... Fri, 25 Jan 2013 12:49:53 EST Day 22- Slowly seeing results http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5215587 CW: 159

I haven't lost much weight since I first started, but I can feel and see some of the results. My stomach bulge is getting smaller. Getting close to a flat stomach! I feel more energized throughout the day. I can do the bootcamp exercises easier than before.

I know I have to keep going. Not only do I want to get in shape for prom and college, but I want to feel better about myself. I want to be healthy and have others look at me as inspiration to reach their own ... Sun, 20 Jan 2013 13:09:03 EST I made it! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5210321 I was worried that I would quit or keep making unhealthy choices, but these past couple of days have been better than ever. I'm really sticking to the January Bootcamp. I've been doing Zumba around 3 times a week to fulfill some of my cardio for the challenge.

I'm past my slipping area. Usually, every time I try to restart my program, I'm good for about a week or so before stopping because I think I'll never get back to having as much motivation as I used to during my first weight ... Wed, 16 Jan 2013 16:28:04 EST Slipping http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5203497 I surpassed my calorie goal yesterday by a ridiculous amount. I've slowly been exercising less. I'm worried that I'm slipping again. I know I can do this because I've done it before. I have more accountability this time. I joined the Blue Team on the Wii Fit Plus Biggest Loser Challenge, and I'm going the Jumpstart January Challenge. I have to stick with it. I was doing so good for awhile. Once school started back up after holiday break, it was harder to find time to exercise.

I ... Sat, 12 Jan 2013 11:22:59 EST January Bootcamp http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5200817 Almost done with week 1 of the Jumpstart January Bootcamp! 244

I'm currently 160.2 lbs. My highest weight being on SparkPeople was 178 lbs and my starting weight for when I started over was 166 lbs.

I also took over co-leadership of the Forever Young SparkTeam. I'm working on trying to get the team revived. Thu, 10 Jan 2013 16:12:45 EST Day 1-5 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5188637 Already out to a shaky start. I've went over on my calories a couple of times, but not by too much. And definitely not enough to set me back. I expected getting back on my fitness program would be difficult. I know I need to take it slow and get readjusted to eating healthier and exercising. I'm setting small goals for myself such as making sure I drink my 8 glasses of water each day, staying under 1900 calories, and exercising for 10 min each day.

Starting next week, I joined the ... Thu, 3 Jan 2013 17:37:40 EST Starting Over... Once Again http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5178835 I seem to be doing really good, losing weight, and staying motivated, then out of nowhere, I drop my weight loss program. I don't ease out of it or get lazy during workouts. I just stop all together. I'm not sure why.

Part of my new year resolution is to stay on SparkPeople and be healthier. So hopefully, I will be able to stick with it this time. I like to start a program on Sundays, so I'm holding off on creating an actual Day 1 blog post.

I haven't gained too much we... Fri, 28 Dec 2012 13:23:08 EST Day 27- 32 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5026492 I've been trying to stick with my program. Since school is getting ready to start, I find it harder to find time to exercise. I also haven't been making the healthiest food choices. I slip up every now and then, but I always try to get back on track the next day.

I feel leaner and more in shape since I've started. However, I haven't really lost a lot of weight. Maybe around 4 pounds since I started. My lack of weight loss results doesn't really bother me. I find it to be motivatin... Wed, 22 Aug 2012 14:04:34 EST Day 24-26 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5018694 I've been keeping up with all of my programs. My 28 day bootcamp is about over, so I'll need to find something new to follow. I've also been keeping up with the 5k training program. I'm currently on week 2 day 3.

I've been reaching my nutrition goals each day, or only going over slightly.

I haven't really lost as much weight as I thought I would. I'm going to be stricter on my diet.
Thu, 16 Aug 2012 22:06:50 EST Week 8/12 - 8/18 Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5013546 -Drink 8 glasses of water each day.

-Do cardio for 30 minutes 5 days.

-Do one 28 Day Bootcamp video each day.

-Eat under 1750 calories each day.

-Repeat a bootcamp video 3 days.

-Eat at least 3 serving of fruits and vegetables a day.

-Lose 2 pounds.
Current weight: 164.3

-Take the Wii Fit Body Test each day.

-Do the Wii Fit Weekly Challenge in the Wii Fit Plus SparkTeam. Mon, 13 Aug 2012 12:31:00 EST Day 18-23 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5013537 This past week has been kind of busy for me. I barely had time for any kind of exercise. I still managed to get my bootcamp video in and some cardio, along with the Rookie Running program. Hopefully, this week I'll learn from last week and make the most of my time. I know things will get even harder once school starts as well.

I've made somewhat healthy food choices. I almost always stay around my calorie goals. If I could just make more time to exercise and reach my calorie goals... Mon, 13 Aug 2012 12:27:11 EST Day 16- 17 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5005976 Yesterday, I did alright with meeting my calorie and nutrition goals. Today, I did a lot better with meeting them. Exercising is the easy part for me. I somehow always manage to find time in my day for it. I'm sure that'll change once school starts back up.

I started a new running program. It's the SparkPeople 8 weeks to running a 5k training plan. I have one more day to go before I'm done with week one. I feel great after running, and I'm really excited to keep up with this. Tue, 7 Aug 2012 23:54:14 EST Week 8/5- 8/11 Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5002684 Last week I met almost all of my goals. I'm going to try to meet more of them this week. I also added another goal.

-Drink 8 glasses of water each day.

-Do cardio for 30 minutes 5 days.

-Do one 28 Day Bootcamp video each day.

-Eat under 1750 calories each day.

-Do an extra exercise video 3 days.

-Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

-Lose 2 pounds.
Current weight: 164.5

-Ta... Sun, 5 Aug 2012 23:00:33 EST Day 13-15 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5002680 I met all of my goals on Friday. I overate a little bit today and yesterday. I was around 1750 calories. I barely exercised both days too. I'm going to push myself a little bit harder this week. I'm still sticking with the 28 Day Bootcamp. I can't believe I'm already 2 weeks into it! It feels like I just started the bootcamp. Sun, 5 Aug 2012 22:57:06 EST Day 12 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4998582 I snacked a little bit after last night's blog entry. The mini bags of popcorn are my weakness. I love them. I didn't go too far over my calorie goals, and I pushed myself extra hard during my Zumba workout.

Today, I actually did meet my nutrition goals. (Let's hope I don't snack again tonight.) I did my bootcamp video, the Wii challenge, and Zumba. I've been trying to do the advanced options of the exercises in the bootcamp videos this week instead of the intermediate. Thu, 2 Aug 2012 20:51:16 EST Day 11 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4997126 I've been really proud of myself lately. I've been meeting all my goals and working hard. I feel like I can see the results already, even though it's been less than two weeks! I think my stomach looks smaller, and I feel stronger. This is making me motivated to keep going. I know I can do it. Wed, 1 Aug 2012 21:59:58 EST Day 9-10 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4995479 I've been staying around 1,550 calories each day and following all of my other weekly goals. So far, it's been going great! I gained about a pound since my last weigh in; however, I weighed in later than I usually do right after eating. Your weight also can change up to 2 lbs throughout the day, so I'm sure it's no biggie.

I've had an problem with burning well over my goal calories. I changed my fitness program like it suggested to allow for more calories burned, but it didn't cha... Tue, 31 Jul 2012 22:19:52 EST Day 8 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4992127 I am really proud of myself today. I ate 1,432 calories, met my fat and carbohydrate goals, and burned 495 calories today. I was a little short on my protein goal.

I did the Day 1 bootcamp video again, an extra exercise video, and played Wii Fit Plus for awhile. I also remembered to post all my Wii Fit Plus scores to the challenge board.

I weighed in at 164.9. So overall, I'm happy of my progress so far. Sun, 29 Jul 2012 19:51:47 EST Week 7/29- 8/4 Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4991798 These are my goals for the upcoming week:

-Drink 8 glasses of water each day.

-Do cardio for 30 minutes 5 days.

-Do one 28 Day Bootcamp video each day.

-Eat under 1800 calories each day.

-Do an extra exercise video 3 days.

-Lose 2 pounds.
Current weight: 166.1

-Take the Wii Fit Body Test each day.

-Do the Wii Fit Weekly Challenge in the Wii Fit Plus SparkTeam. Sun, 29 Jul 2012 14:35:58 EST Homecoming Dress http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4990834 My high school's homecoming is coming up, so it's time for me to buy a dress! This year, since it's my senior year, I'm splurging and getting a dress by Mori Lee. I'm buying it in a size 12. I wasn't really sure about the size. It has an adjustable back, so I could always tighten or loosen it, if needed. I still have about a month until homecoming, so if it's a little small, I will have time to lose weight.

It's hard to order something online without being able to try it on, let a... Sat, 28 Jul 2012 18:59:31 EST Day 6-7- Doing better http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4990818 I did really good yesterday and today with my diet and nutrition goals. I was around 1,550 calories for both days. I've been trying to make healthier choices for my meals and eat out less.

I've also been keeping up with the 28 Day Bootcamp workout. I've been doing a video a day and the 30 min of cardio five days a week. Usually, I manage to do over 30 minutes of cardio, along with an extra strength training video or some Wii Fit exercises. I want the motivation I had a year or so ago back.

Today, I'm going to try harder and make sure I don't snack mindlessly. I had a really big lunch, so I'm going to try to make up for that by eating a small an... Tue, 24 Jul 2012 18:19:20 EST Day 1-2 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4983705 I've decided to get back on SparkPeople. I used SparkTeen actively a year ago and managed to get my weight down to 135 lbs. I'd really like to be that weight again. I'm currently 167. I tried to restart my exercise and diet program a few weeks ago and lost 9 pounds from my previous weight of 178. I lost motivation and stopped trying. I managed to keep my weight the same though, but I haven't lost any more weight.

This time I hope to really stay with my program and reach my goal wei... Mon, 23 Jul 2012 18:36:11 EST
