So, I went back on my tracker and looked at the days that I ate 3000 to 4000 calories. And just about every time I went over, the biggest calorie intakes were french fries, cheese or pizza.

I would order pizzas and eat the whole thing. Sometimes I'd think "I'm totally eating an entire pizza today." And sometimes I'd think, "I'm gonna order a piz... Fri, 21 Aug 2015 22:13:42 EST Binge eating undermining my weight loss... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5981651 So, I'm having this tendency to eat within my goal of 1800-2200 calories for 4 or 5 days a week. Then, I'll eat 3000-4000 calories for one or two days a week. Which is pretty much averaging out to leave me hovering around 280lbs. This has been going on for the last hmmm 3 months, I think. Maybe 4 months.

I'm happy I'm not gaining...I feel good that I'm maintaining...but at the same time, of course, I'd like to see the scale dropping again.

In one previous times on s... Thu, 20 Aug 2015 18:24:57 EST I just ate 500 calories in chocolate :/ http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5980973 I'm not very happy about it, but I consciously did it. I had a light lunch, and I had more healthy options in my mini-fridge at work. Something stressed me out at work, and of course instead of making the healthy choice, I went straight to the chocolate. Oh, there were so many things I could have done instead of eating all that candy. i could have gotten up and taken a walk, I could have gone outside. I could have eaten the healthy food. Even though, if I went outside, I'd most likely g... Wed, 19 Aug 2015 15:11:34 EST The importance of social support through my journey... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5980356 For a while, I have been thinking about how important social connections are to my journey. I'm finding that reaching out to others is one of the pieces that has been missing from the puzzle. I always thought it had to be a lone effort, but now I'm realizing that it really doesn't have to be. I have been trying very diligently the last 6 months to remain in some sort of contact with someone else who shares similar goals. I've been checking in daily with at least one person who's on a simi... Tue, 18 Aug 2015 17:11:54 EST Beach Camping or Staying Home http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5978023 Well, I've decided beach camping.

When my friend told me last minute yesterday about an overnight camping trip at the beach, I thought "Yea, I'll definitely be there." But, today I woke up, and I was like, "Ugh, its so much work, so many things to get together, set up the tent just for one night, just to take it down again in the morning."

Then as the day progressed I thought, "What exercise should I do today? Yoga, walking, dancing.... " And then I thought "Setting u... Fri, 14 Aug 2015 19:12:39 EST 10 Exercise Minutes a day http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5977967 I read an article by Chris sparkguy Downie, and it was about working out just 10 minutes a day. So that's what I've decided to do this time around, and it's working out great. I love sparkpeople!

I was going through a cycle where I'd work out for a few months, then not workout for a few months, then workout for a few months, then not, on and on. Each time I'd work out, I'd do 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes per session. I could do it 4 or 5 times a week for a few months, and then I'd b... Fri, 14 Aug 2015 15:51:40 EST What does the scale mean to you? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5381486 I recently became obsessed with measuring myself and with standing on the scale. My mentor suggested I write about what the scale means to me. So I wrote a page in my journal about it, but I would like to know from you spark people what the scale means to you. Thanks! Bless! Keep coming back! :) Fri, 7 Jun 2013 13:02:02 EST I finally used my blender!!! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5020698 OMG, I bought this blender ages ago in hopes to blend up my fruit and veggies, so that I'm not always getting bored with munching on them raw. I finally used the thing today, so that feels like a great accomplishment. And it was delicious. I put 6 strawberries, 1 orange, 1 plum, 20 carrots, 2 cups nonfat milk. It made about 2-4 servings, I believe, but I drank the whole thing. Ice cream will make it thicker and more like a smoothie, but I didn't do icecream and enjoyed the drink just as ... Sat, 18 Aug 2012 13:36:37 EST IDENTIFYING REASONS FOR SLIPUPS AND MY PLAN TO AVOID THEM http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5010121 The last two days, I've found myself going about 500-600 calories over my goal. Today, I have successfully identified the reasons for this slip-up. I'm back on the wagon today and not beating myself up over the last two days. I'm happy that I've identified the reasons for the slip up. There were two reasons. One, I was highly stressed the last two days. And two, both days, I started the day with McDonald's breakfast. After 2 hours of eating this poor nutritional value meal, I felt hung... Fri, 10 Aug 2012 18:48:31 EST DAILY JOURNAL EXERCISES FOR GOALS AND SELF ESTEEM http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4996762 I was researching exercises to build self esteem. And I found a list of things, I don't have that list with me at the moment, but I took some of the things that I thought would work well to write in my daily journal. I find it best for me to write it at the end of the day or any time during the day that I have a moment. They are as follows...

1 - Daily accomplishments - I write down everything that I accomplished that day.
2 - Things I like about me - I re-write the same list... Wed, 1 Aug 2012 17:06:04 EST LIFELONG OVERWEIGHT ISSUE + SUBSTANCE ABUSE = DISASTER http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4974972 Ever since I was 7 years old, I've been overweight. When I was 12, I started sneaking my parents cigarettes and smoking them in the backyard. When I was 13, I tried beer and vodka and any liquor my friend and I could get our hands on. At 17, I started smoking weed. I'm 31 now, and have been using alcohol, marijuana and a few other drugs since I was 17. My whole life, I struggled with my weight loss, and adding mind altering substances into the equation certainly didn't help me with motiv... Tue, 17 Jul 2012 18:05:04 EST
