I don't mean to say that it's difficult to make myself eat too much. What I mean to say is that when I eat too much my body takes it HARD! This weekend consisted of work, church, and two parties. On Saturday, I navigated the day and managed to eat only about 150 over my SP range, but I danced off around 400 calories so I'm kind of okay with that. However, on Sunday, I did not dance. BUT. ..for the most part, I managed to control myself. And I had a lovely time, visiting with my family without obsessing over the food. THAT is an NSV! It's a novelty to have had Thanksgiving, and NOT be overstuffed or bloated afterward. I even woke up this morning with no water retention! (Even considering I had 2 glasses of wine. Tue, 15 Nov 2016 23:17:31 EST Amazing What a Little Sleep Can Do So, given my age (48), and the hormone fluctuations expected around now, as well as not-so-quiet roommates, I've been having interrupted sleep for a long time now. The havoc this plays on your mind, your will power, etc., is HUGE. However, for the last 3 nights, I've slept all night, 7-8 hours straight, even waking an hour before my alarm this morning. I've had energy all day, a clear mind, and have been able to make wise food decisions all day, even given the donuts a roommate pick... Sun, 13 Nov 2016 19:49:02 EST I Exercised! right to vote! A drippy, rainy, grey, not hot, but not cold, day. An inauspicious omen considering that today is election day. I have discovered that if I'm tired, and I stay up instead of going to bed, I will eat any snacky thing my eyes land on. Last night, I totally wiped out all my exercise calories by junk food at 11pm.
