Insanity - no missed workouts - didn't happen. I took a week off from work in the middle of the month to spend time with my family and thoroughly enjoyed my lazy time at home with my kids and husband. However, I did jump right back into my workouts after my time off and managed to accomplish 16 Insanity workouts for the month. <BR> <BR>... Sat, 31 Aug 2013 18:46:56 EST June Goals - Final Update Okay! I am proud of myself and my accomplishments for June! It wasn't 100%, but I really gave it my all. <BR> <BR> 1. 300,000 steps <em>248</em> <BR> 2. 10,000 kettlebell swings - 7950 done, 2050 missing. I didn't set myself up for success on this, leaving *many* of my swings for the last two weeks of the month. Then, I ended up getting a cold on the last four days of the month and couldn't finish my 10,000. Disappointed, but now I have a new mindset for July. <BR> 3. 22 Insanit... The ones that you didn't really want to do in the first place, but you committed to doing it when you were full of energy and sitting on your fanny, setting goals. The workout that makes you rethink your goals....not only do you no longer care about your goals, but now you rethink the idea that being fat and unhealthy, sitting on the couch watching reruns of Big Bang Theory, as an idea worth exp... Nutritional Ketosis - geez....still struggling on this one, and the scale is reflecting it. I am up from last Saturday, but I am still down 2.4 lbs from the 1st of May! <BR> <BR> On to June!! Sat, 1 Jun 2013 12:51:41 EST May Goals Well, I'm a little behind this month. I got off to a good start on the 1st, but have missed every workout since then. Geez.... Sat, 4 May 2013 22:29:19 EST April Goals - final entry April was a great learning month for me. I finally figured out a way to get my kettlebells done without torturing myself. I realized that it's easier for me to push myself hard during the first two weeks of the month, but struggle the third week and then finally get (mostly) back in gear the last week. I figure that if I learn my body's patterns and adjust my goals to them, that I'll probably be a bit more successful over the long haul and stop beating myself up so much. <BR> <BR> So, for... Wed, 1 May 2013 00:50:17 EST April Goals - from 4/5 and 4/6 Well, I'm kicking butt and taking names....partially b/c I can hardly lift my arms to brush my teeth, but partially b/c I'm doing awesome. Got my workouts done as planned yesterday and today. I'm up to 2600 kettlebell swings done for the month of April already. I'm 100% on top of my steps goal so far as well. Food is spot on plan for very low carb. Ketones are .4 millimolar today. I'm shooting for between .5 and 3.0, but I'll take .4!!! <BR> <BR> On to the 7th!!! Sun, 7 Apr 2013 00:32:08 EST April Goals - from 4/1 - 4/4 Okay! I'm doing pretty well so far. I'm only 800 steps shy of being on track with my steps. Yesterday, I did Wednesday and Thursday's workouts, so I'm just missing Monday's workout. I'll make that up another time this month. I am really looking forward to tonight's workout, too!! <BR> <BR> Food has been spot on. Fri, 22 Mar 2013 13:33:48 EST March Goals - 3/13 to 3/16 The past three days have been good. 10,000 steps each day, Pilates each day, low in carbs, high fat. Friday was more carbs than normal - about 60 grams, so I'd still call that a good day, given all the family events going on that day. <BR> <BR> I've recently bought a new blood ketone monitor, but I'm just waiting for the strips that go with it.
