Mon, 17 Sep 2012 17:44:10 EST Measurements & Numbers - April 2012 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4812309 I know it's only 3/30 but I'm going to consider these the #'s for April. This info was posted in my SP teams challenge to log this every month. I decided to put it in blog form so I could always keep track of where it was at. :) Happy Friday.

Time one mile (see how long it takes, walking, jogging, running, doesn't matter, it's a start!)
Walking around my neighborhood - it varies from a 21 to 24 min mile

----How many crunches can you do in 1-minute? Fri, 30 Mar 2012 13:36:34 EST Changing?? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4807632 I haven't felt motivated but I did something I haven't done in a long time. I worked out on my 1/2 hr lunch. I've had the Wii Biggest Loser game for over a year now and finally dusted it off to see what it was all about.

I have the tools - Wii fit plus, bike, access to a gym, exercise ball, weights etc. It's the using part. My new sparkstreak goal... 10 mins a day doing anything other than sitting on my butt.

I can do this..

PS - For your own reminder: you ... Tue, 27 Mar 2012 16:15:55 EST Summer Shorts! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4800184 So I got a wild hair up my (well ya know) and decided to try on the shorts I recall wearing in my early 20's. They are shorts that I used to look good in and really really loved so I still have them 8-10 years later. These are my goal shorts becuase it's clothes that I can remember wearing and how I felt in them.

HAHA - It was eye opening to realize just how much weight I have put on over the years. While the shorts are marked 20W, they are more like a 16. There is no way losing j... Thu, 22 Mar 2012 17:54:39 EST Sunshine and a new light http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4779546 OMGoodness.. The sun is shining here and its a gorgeous day. The last two days have been great for my mood. Windows and doors are open, birds are chirping and I am in great spirits. I have tracked my food for 5 days straight, and not fibbing on what I put in my mouth.

Tomorrow is Sat and I'm worried that I wont continue the streak. I have the food tracker on my smart phone but it doesn't have my favorites, and not all the foods are avail. I will have to remember to just enter it i... Fri, 9 Mar 2012 17:08:15 EST 10 lbs gone - Adios :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4230371 So.. My highest weight was 307 and I have officially lost the 1st 10 lbs and a little more. I can't remember the last time that I lost 10 lbs. I do remember the time where I gained 10 lbs. in one week (no idea how that happened).

I also have to say (and this may be TMI - especially the guys) that today has been one year since I have had my monthly and it's a beautiful thing. For anyone who has struggled with heavy, irregular and almost constant cycles - I feel ya as I've been ther... Fri, 13 May 2011 13:23:51 EST Family Update - http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4228771 Well for those of you that have read my previous blog about "Family... To Keep or Not to Keep".. I have an update and it's a doozie.

The straw finally came down and broke the camels back. For the last three major holidays ( Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day) my sister and her habits always looms over my head. When she calls - everything is my fault, I don't love her, I don't care if she is alive, and I never reach out to her.

Mother's Day 2011 will always be alive in... Thu, 12 May 2011 19:37:18 EST Walk this way! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4184105 So I just joined the 10 min daily exercise SP challenge - Has anyone else? I figure with my dogs and no kids I can spare 10 minutes and if I start this small then I can build on it from there. I have been logging my food religious (even the not so favorable foods) and it's pretty enlightening on what I eat in the evening. My goal is to track my food for two weeks to see what I eat and where I can improve.

On a side note.. I'm going to Grants Pass this weekend to see my niece and n... Fri, 22 Apr 2011 15:16:19 EST Family - To keep or not to keep? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4182250 So I have this sister who is 38, bipolar, and has a learning disability. My whole life she has made sure to let me and my mom know that having these issues is the reason for all the bad crap that has happened in her life. I've been told by her many times that I have it so easy because I am "smart" and can lead a normal life. I've spent the majority of my teenage and adult life feeling as the big sister when I'm the younger one.

For the past 12 years my sister has abused drugs. She... Thu, 21 Apr 2011 18:09:04 EST The All or Nothing Game!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4177099 So I was reading an article today on SP to help my motivation level and I came across one that after reading made me answer with a resounding YES! I thought I would share one section with that really resonated with me.... in fact I think he had me in mind when he wrote it... LOL. The author is Dean Anderson and the article is in the motivation section of SP. The title is Drop the Fatitude and Get a Winning Attitude! I recommend it and here is a sneak peak. Happy Tuesday and Enjoy! :)
<B... Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:03:20 EST Bad with the Good!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4174383 It's amazing how I can do so well through out the week and when one thing happens it can set me off on a downward spiral.

Sunday was a total comfort food day for me. I wasn't eating becuase I was hungry - I was eating because I wanted to and not anything remotely good for me. Saturday was a bad day for me and instead of sucking it up, I reverted into old habits knowingly. Now... what is the good you ask?? I actually logged all my horrible choices.

In the past this type... Mon, 18 Apr 2011 13:33:22 EST How do you silence the "inner fat girl" http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4168375 Lookie here.. I talk about how I don't have anything to say and then I see this forum topic on the right side of SP and I can't stop myself. This will give you (and me) a little more insight as to how my brain works :) Enjoy!

When I was in school I didn't really ponder over my weight that much and thankfully it wasn't an issue for me with my peers too much. I was one of those types that could get along with anyone. As I have progressed from a 14/16 in HS to my current 22/24, I not ... Fri, 15 Apr 2011 17:32:56 EST Any idears?? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4167929 Hi All - I told myself that I would try this blog thing but I am finding that I'm pretty boring - or so I think. I know this is the place to talk about anything - whether it's health/fitness, life, work etc. I have been a member of SP since 2006 - I've wasted 5 years by never doing the deep work and getting "burned" out by trying to keep up on all the things I can do on this website.

I work from home now and have access to do whatever posting, updates, research, comments etc. My p... Fri, 15 Apr 2011 13:33:20 EST Wading into the SP water again! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4163881 This is my latest attempt with SP, and one I hope lasts. I bought "The Spark" book and I have to say I am enjoying it so far. The way Chris explains how he went from P&G to Sp is really inspiring. Anyone else feel the same way? Wed, 13 Apr 2011 19:02:01 EST
