I was able to do all my lunges...of course, I almost fell over. 4 laps of the cardio room equals about 80 lunges. Whew! I've been doing really well, though, if I do say so myself. I got on the scale. It said 126.6 and take away 3 pounds for clothes and shoes...that means 123.6! When I had my first assessment with Brianne, the scale said 129.5. That means 3 pounds less! Woot! Gotta keep at it. I'm really liking the 5-6 meals...I don't get near... Wed, 29 Jul 2009 15:21:24 EST So far, so good I had my first workout with Brianne on Friday. She kicked my butt. First, we discovered how truly unbalance and uncoordinated I am on the bosu ball. Then, she made me do forward lunges until I fell over. That didn't take long--about 4 laps of the cardio room at the gym. I got nauseous and had to drink some orange juice. Apparently, to begin with, your body tries to burn the insulin stores instead of burning fat, so you have to keep your blood sugar up. Good to know. <BR> <BR> Monday, ... Not a whole lot going on here. I'm not losing any weight. I'm not gaining any weight. I guess I can't complain too much. I'm still waiting to find out if I'm pregnant. I haven't been sleeping well lately, and I think a lot of that is my lack of exercise recently. Starting Monday, March 5th, it's back to the gym. Hardcore. Then I got 2 cases of really bad news. A very good friend of the family died at the age of 49. This man was one of the nicest people I ever knew and I loved him to death. Another friend of mine was involved in an accident on New Years. She was taken off life support on January 2. Thank God it's 2007! No Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Years to think about for 11 months. Being in Hawaii, everyone serves Chinese food, which tends to be either fried or leaking oil from every pore.
