I am hoping that this year, I will be able to attain the health that I desire. I'm expecting 2 more grandbabies this summer! Yay! One son's wife has had many health problems and was unable to get pregnant for about 3 years. She is due July 10. The other son's wife is expecting #5 child in late summer! Yay! <BR> So what motivates me to loose weight? Gaining strength and better health! It's worth the effort! :) Thu, 1 Jan 2015 12:25:15 EST Hanging on! :) I had planned to measure and weigh today, but my Dad went to the ER. So I spent most of the day with him in the hospital with him and my Mom. He should be going home tomorrow. yay! :) I've been trying to track my food and it really does help and I'm usually closer to the right calorie and etc.. count when I do. So just like my Dad, I'll keep hanging on! :) Mon, 8 Dec 2014 23:14:07 EST I haven't given up yet! I haven't been recording everything I eat very well, yet. It seams I get so busy living and doing things that it's not always easy to record everything. I think I need to get myself better organized. Maybe a little note book in my bag would help. I don't do the cell phone computer app stuff. I have been recording my food, but not as well as I need to. I'm getting better at it. Thanksgiving was a fabulous day unless you count how much I ate. I'm excited to still be here trying! I think my pants are not quite as tight this week! :) Mon, 1 Dec 2014 10:40:17 EST Going to the dentist I dread going to the dentist. But I will be glad to get rid of the pain, so I'm going today. I remember a few years back it was a huge, huge fear. Then I learned to knit while I was in the chair. I was knitting a bag that I planned to felt. It was in the round and plain knitting, so I didn't have to look. My dentist thought it was great. But it helped me relax enough and I was able to avoid the fear and anxiety. I think it's hard to come back here, because it's embarrassing to have put on more weight instead of losing it. I've had a cold this weekend, so I just really need to get busy and take better care of my health. Losing those extra few pounds is the first step. I've been having tons of fun knitting, but I think there's more to life than knitting. So I've put on a few pounds (about 8 or 10). I've lost weight before I should be able to do it again, but I'm still not getting down to the necessity of doing what I need to to lose it! I have decided to start Sparking again. I was down to 146 pounds last February. Then my daughter and I took a trip to the Oregon Coast and that started us off our diet. I gained 10 pounds back so, which is discouraging. But I really want to keep healthy. My husband has lost over 70 pounds! So I need to at least, not gain weight.
