Hi Everyone, <BR> <BR> I have been absent from Spark for over two months now but I have wonderful news to share, I have lost a total of 15 pounds since I started Spark back in Feb. I just need to lose 10 more pounds to get to my goal weight. <BR> <BR> In my past posts I mentioned I was on the earth diet and I have to say it helped me lose the last 10 pounds in about 2 1/2 months. For the sake of staying sane I do have one day a week that's my "cheat" day. I don't go over the top or anything... I am amazed at the amount of fruits and veggies I am eating. I think I’ve eaten more than I have had all year! I feel really calm on this diet. Processed food is packed with sugar, even low fat options, and it causes you to have highs and lows throughout the day which can alter your mood, if you drink a lot of caffeine this can make it even worse. I am not constantly bloated and my tummy no longer feels uncomfortable after eating. I have to say that I am pretty unhappy with my food choices. My daily eating habits were made up of carbs, protein (not always lean) and hardly any fruit and veggies. Once I stopped WW I continued a similar diet by also tracking my daily food and beverage intake as well as counting calories.
