This is an improvement from my usual maybe 1 day of walking.
2. I did eat at least 1 healthy meal, most days of the week.
3. I did make it to Church and Choir practice on Sunday without stressing about what I was wearing.
4. I did lose .5 pound.
... Ate a healthy breakfast and completed a 4 mile walk. Have set my day up to have healthy snacks and meals. Already on my to meeting 8 glasses of water. These all seem like small things but when you are starting over every step is important. I have to focus on what I've accomplished and not on what I did not do. I hope you will too. Learning to love yourself is hard but not impossible. God intended for us to thrive not survive! I know with Him I ... Mon, 20 Jun 2016 12:20:58 EST Off Track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5203518 My mom broke her shoulder and her wrist and I have gotten a little off track taking care of her. I have started tracking my eating again and I am trying to work in a workout somewhere. Trying to remember it is just as important to take care of me as it is to take care of her. Feeling a little low for getting so off track. Sat, 12 Jan 2013 11:37:05 EST Thanksgiving Day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5143286 Started my day with a 4 mile walk. Feel good. I won't be tracking my food today but I will be mindful of what I am eating. Have tailored many of my recipes with healthier ingredients. Plan to enjoy the day and then back on track tomorrow with a great workout and tracked eating. Thu, 22 Nov 2012 08:59:54 EST Happy Thanksgiving! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5140590 I am truly Thankful this week for my family and friends. My children continue to be a great support system. My son even went to the gym with me this morning! This is not an easy journey but I know I will succeed because of the blessing of Family and Friends that God has given me. Mon, 19 Nov 2012 15:57:11 EST Focused on Food Tracking http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5132658 This week I am setting a goal to try and track everything (and I do mean everything that goes in my mouth) this week. Tracking helps keep me focused and it also helps me think about if what I'm about to eat is really worth it, before I eat it. Mon, 12 Nov 2012 11:51:41 EST A Great Day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5128290 I had my first great day yesterday. It was my first day without binging in the afternoon or evening. I know this may not seem like a big deal to some but it is a very big deal for me. It is the first time I feel like I am gaining some control over my eating. Tracking my food and exercise is a huge help! Thu, 8 Nov 2012 10:01:38 EST Beginning Again! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5122613 I am starting again today. I know this is not going to be easy, but I have to succeed this time. I am at an all time high weight and I know I am setting myself up for another heart attack. I want to change and this time I am committing publicly so that I can have accountability and help to keep me on track. 104 Sat, 3 Nov 2012 15:07:18 EST
