Unfortunately... On Saturday while at a BBQ for my parent's church that I was invited to, they had rented out the community pool with a water slide. It was REALLY fun... until the end. I went to go down it fast, and my ankle slammed against the opening and twisted weird as I went down. It didn't break or sprain, thankfully, but it hurt for a few days and I couldn't walk on it properl... Tue, 23 Jul 2013 00:25:36 EST 3rd day of Focus T25 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5424827 Haven't updated in a little, but! I had started T25 on an odd day so I restarted it on this last monday to be on schedule with the workout schedule that came with the Focus T25 set.

The Total Body Circuit kicked my butt pretty hard and some of the moves were a bit wonky and hard for me to do with all this jelly flopping around, but I pushed through and did it! I did have to take a couple seconds to get my strength back at one point, but I jumped right back into it once I felt read... Thu, 18 Jul 2013 00:41:56 EST Some downfalls and Focus T25 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5418014 Well... I haven't been on the computer much lately or working out/taking my walks. I got extremely discouraged when my father, the man most people seek acceptance and advice from, shot down my efforts and made negative comments about my walking routine. I was walking every day with my parent's dog, and when he came home later one of the days I went for a walk, I told him I had went for my daily walk. He piped up with "You went for your walk, huh? What'd you go, five feet?" or something along ... Thu, 11 Jul 2013 15:24:48 EST Still doing good! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5403693 I'm still going strong! I took yesterday (Wed.) off for a break to allow my body to take some time to recuperate after doing toning and strength training exercises the day before. Man, did they kick my butt! I know they will only get easier though and I look forward to doing them now!

I have been using SP's videos for extra cardio, core, legs, and arms toning/strength training. I really like them as a beginner cause they're easy to follow and they give you options if you can't do ... Thu, 27 Jun 2013 15:22:47 EST Progress! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5399358 Woke up bright and early this morning (5:30 a.m.) and decided to do my weekly weigh-in! I thought my Wii Fit Plus was inaccurate in weight until I weighed myself on my friend's scale and it was the same as what Wii Fit told me.

Onto the good news! I lost 5lbs! I am down to 255 and going strong. I took my morning walk with my parent's dog, Vader(He's a Dachshund) and he is always SO excited to go for a walk with me. It really keeps me motivated to get up and go for not only my sake... Sun, 23 Jun 2013 17:45:59 EST Going strong! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5398724 I have never been as motivated as I am now and I don't plan to quit, ever! Since 'restarting', again, my weight loss journey, I have been so motivated this time to finally not give up on myself. I am worth much more than that. I did not get up and take my morning walk this morning, but, I made up for it with an evening walk of a complete mile! I was going about .8 of a mile before, round trip. But, this time, I did a full mile! Going to do a mile for at least a whole week and then slowly work... Sat, 22 Jun 2013 23:49:13 EST So sore! (And a bit discouraged) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5390974 Woke up again pretty early today! Woke up at 5:40 am but didn't want to get out of bed, so laid there till about 6. I almost didn't go for my new routine morning walk cause I was sore from the walk I did the evening before. Took me a little bit to find the motivation to get up and moving but I did! I didn't take my walk till about 7, but it was still nice and cool outside.

I was quite discouraged when I took my walk the night before. I pretending something that happened didn't bot... Sun, 16 Jun 2013 16:09:16 EST Bright and Early! (And New SparkTeam!) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5390010 Phew. I am definitely not a morning person, but these past two days I have been diligently getting up at 5:30 am. I relax for a little while, then I get up, eat a small breakfast or an apple, do a 30-45 minute workout, then eat breakfast if I hadn't. It has definitely been a bit hard to stay awake in the middle of the day without some sort of pick-me-up, but I've been doing good.

I am finally putting my foot down and saying no to some of the crap my parents have bought or try to o... Sat, 15 Jun 2013 13:46:40 EST Stress http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5385414 Stress is a killer and let me tell you, it's been doing a number on me and my motivation. Moving in with my parents hasn't been easy. I have been trying to stay active, but haven't really had the motivation or energy to really do a 'work out'. However, things are looking up.

The medication I started for anxiety gives me quite a bit of energy, though can also make me a bit sleepy. Nothing a little extra kick(half-caff coffee or caffeinated tea) won't help with.

Two of my... Tue, 11 Jun 2013 05:58:12 EST Workout with Mom http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5359538 Worked out with my mother the other day playing Exerbeat on the Wii. It was fun, but I had to ease up a bit because my mother isn't used to working out and her back had been hurting her the day before so I slowed down. I didn't tell her though cause I didn't want her to push herself too hard when she wasn't used to working out. We had a blast though and it was fun.

I haven't been really able to wake up early enough to do my morning work out, unfortunately. @__@ This new medication ... Fri, 17 May 2013 17:05:05 EST Back, again! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5352740 Hey everyone! I'm back, once again! I didn't fall off the wagon too far this time, but some things have been going on so I haven't been able to update, workout, or even eat as healthy as I wish, but wasn't too bad. My girlfriend and I had to move. We are living with my parents now and were living in a camper trailer for about one week or so, and then my PARENTS moved cause they FINALLY get to buy their own home. All of the stress though of moving, and moving again, and packing, and hauling, r... Sat, 11 May 2013 03:16:48 EST Need to slow down http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5240390 I blogged yesterday/last night about doing Turbo Fire. I had a lot of fun doing it, but I think I did it far too soon. After I got home from my friend's house and after doing the exercising, I couldn't stop coughing. I think I tried to push myself too hard before fully getting better. No one to blame but myself, but now I feel even more sick than I did before.

Going to slow down for a little while, let my lungs rest, and maybe so some light activities like Yoga or slowly walking in... Wed, 6 Feb 2013 14:58:04 EST Turbo Fire! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239587 Recently started doing Turbo Fire. My friend recommended it to me and her and I are going to be scheduling times to meet up and do it, and I'll be doing it at home on the days we don't. I tried to do the Fire 30 class today, buuuut.... I failed, bad. I'm still getting over my cold and my lungs couldn't take the strenuous activity, but that's not going to stop me. I'm going to keep going as far as I can and not push myself too hard until I get better. I had a blast though, it was invigorating ... Wed, 6 Feb 2013 00:19:37 EST Cold/Flu is worse http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5236132 I thought that maybe my cold or flu would be nice to me this new year and let up early... Wrong. I had started to feel better, then BAM! Started coughing a ton and feeling even more tired and dragged down. To top it all off, I now have NO VOICE. I can barely even make a whisper. My throat is sore and dry, no matter how much water I drink or cough drops I suck on.

Been drinking hot tea to help, and going to have some tomato soup soon and see if that makes me feel any better (beside... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 19:39:37 EST Sick http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5235211 Got sick a couple days ago and it has really knocked me on my butt. It has ruined, for now, my plans of working out with a friend or doing much of anything. Once I get over this cold or flu, I plan on making a schedule with my friend (Neko-Len on SP) and getting together to work out. I hope I get over this fast! I want to get back into working out! Thankfully, even though I'm sick, I am still watching what I eat so I don't binge. I do have a super bad craving for sweets though lately, but onc... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 01:40:47 EST
