Plants are in, pics of how "Ahem" Due to circumstances beyond my control, and the threat of an early freeze last night for KY, I was pressed to get my house plants in. My plant's are BIG, although I don't have as many as I used to; this year getting them in has been more of a challenge; working smarter, not harder. First thing I decided is none were going upstairs this year. That made things a lot easier. Anything too big to lift could be moved into my family room through the garage on a hand truck and slid into p... Sun, 18 Oct 2015 08:13:37 EST Time To Leave This Story Behind - now focusing on health, happiness and rebuilding stamina! Today was my "follow up and what's next" visits to the doctors at the clinic. A long afternoon; from 1:45-4:30 and I had very little "wait time". I'm really feeling good.

I did have a good afternoon; easy when you feel great! A friend drove me but we went to lunch first and had a good visit. Then she dropped me at the clinic at 1:45; I checked in, went and had some labs done (blood drawn), then up - early to see my primary care doctor and surprised he saw me early ( a good ... It was decided to bring a kitten into our household and the search began. Sadly, I could not find a hea... Tue, 1 Sep 2015 18:35:04 EST End Of Summer Garden Blog Late August and school has started here. Days are getting cooler, it sure feels like the end of summer. There are other signs too. I thought it would be a good time to do a review of some of the garden projects started this spring. The garden itself is not bad, but would have been better if I'd not been slowed down by that fall in May. Mended, but some damage is done to a few of the plants. We'll start and end with something pretty:

<img src=" Sun, 23 Aug 2015 12:08:39 EST HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUGAR! (Better late than never!) Good Morning, I had the pictures lined up for this blog on Sugar's actual birthday, yesterday. But, I ran out of computer time if I was going to get out in the yard on the nicest day so far this year and she loves spending time in the yard with me! We had a good day in the yard together!

Still, she is such an important part of my life, and my fitness, that I thought her friends here might want to know how it all began. Starting with the sudden passing of my SIL in MI and the gathering of my entire family in MI to celebrate her life with both sadness and joy remembering all the good times we had together. My MD daughter stayed a few extra days to help my brother with things in the house that needed to be done. Then, came here for the remainder of her previously scheduled vacation. One of the things we enjoy when she's here is a garage sale day with my other... Sun, 9 Aug 2015 10:13:08 EST WHERE'S SUGAR?! In my last blog, TERRIJ7 asked: "Does Sugar spend a lot of time in her little garden? ". She absolutely does! It's her "safe" place. She's a very timid dog and can hide from anyone anywhere in it. Today, it was the impending storm. We were right on the edge of it and had overcast and a wonderful breeze for working. So, she insisted on being out there with us when normally she would have been on the stairwell. I noticed she was in "hide" mode. Yogis have NOTHING on her for focus! I ha... Thu, 9 Jul 2015 14:07:45 EST July Garden Review: Pictures Worked in the yard a couple of hours this afternoon and now have the big garden ready for DGS to finish mulching tomorrow.
