JOYFUL452003's SparkPeople Blog JOYFUL452003's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Making progress I am committed to continue on the SP program to reach my goals and to be healthy and strong. I have set some small goals such as tracking my food daily, exercising at least 10 minutes a day, then 10 minutes twice a day, then 10 minutes three times a day...I received a FitBit for Christmas and my goal is now 10000 steps daily. I keep track of my steps thru the day and then do my walking tape in the evening and almost always go past my 10000 steps. It feels good to meet my goals and set new ... Sun, 17 Mar 2013 21:19:45 EST Beautiful Day.

We have had a beautiful day in Oklahoma today. We got a sprinkle of rain very early (we need several inches as we are in a terrible drought) and then we had lots of sunshine with mild temps. Snow is supposed to be coming on Tuesday. Yea!
I did 47 minutes of Leslie Sansone 4 mile tape and I think I am getting addicted to it. I always feel so much better when I am finished. This is the first time I have done all 4 miles and I was sweating like ever.
Hope everyone ... Sun, 10 Feb 2013 20:35:39 EST Continuing on the journey 30 I have been consistantly tracking and exercising since December 2012 and I have lost 6#. I have a goal of 10000 steps per day and I can get that pretty easy if I get on the treadmill or do Leslie Sansone walking tape for a mile or two. I received a fitbit for Christmas and that has help me met my goals. I need to loose at lease 20 more pounds, continue to eat healthy, continue to exercise.
Today I saw my doctor and he approves of my goals and encouraged me to "continu... Fri, 8 Feb 2013 22:12:49 EST Concerns confirmed I have been concerned that I may be having a problem with my blood sugar. I recently had some lab done that confirmed that. My A1C indicates that I am prediabetic. I really do not want to go on meds so that makes me that much more determined to lose at least twenty pounds and continue to be consistant with my exercise. I am tracking food and exercise and since December 23, 2012 (when I got my fitbit and got serious) my numbers are improving and I have lost a little weight. I am moving ... Fri, 1 Feb 2013 19:57:11 EST Consistancy is paying off. 386
I received a fitbit for Christmas and it has helped me to do physical exercise every day. My goal is 10000 steps daily, which I don't always get but it is something to shoot for. By being consistant with exercise and tracking I am finally starting to loose some weight. I am feeling healthy and stronger each day. Being consistant has always been a challange for me, but I will continue to work on this each and every day.
252 Fri, 25 Jan 2013 20:30:51 EST Exercise Being consistant with exercise seems to be a problem. I blame my work schedule! Really it is just a me problem. I always think I have to do all my exercise at once. I have to get into the mindset that I can do 10 early morning and 10 minutes at lunch and 10 more in the evening if I want to. Just about everyone can find 10 minutes in their day to do a little exercise. My goal is to make this a habit and then to increase the minutes as I go along. Thu, 6 Sep 2012 08:45:33 EST May have overdone it. Yesterday I walked for 2.25 miles on my treadmill at a faster speed than normal and part of it with an incline. Then I spent about three hours cleaning a building and washing windows, climbing in and out of the windows. I was excited to think of how much physical activity I had done only to be a little flustered when I hit the scales this morning. Today I have walked 1.25 miles and will try to continue my pace of at least 7 miles per week. Hopefully next week the scales will show the rewa... Sat, 21 Jan 2012 19:34:27 EST
