I have set some small goals such as tracking my food daily, exercising at least 10 minutes a day, then 10 minutes twice a day, then 10 minutes three times a day...I received a FitBit for Christmas and my goal is now 10000 steps daily. I keep track of my steps thru the day and then do my walking tape in the evening and almost always go past my 10000 steps. It feels good to meet my goals and set new ... We got a sprinkle of rain very early (we need several inches as we are in a terrible drought) and then we had lots of sunshine with mild temps. Snow is supposed to be coming on Tuesday. Yea! <BR> I did 47 minutes of Leslie Sansone 4 mile tape and I think I am getting addicted to it. I always feel so much better when I am finished. I have a goal of 10000 steps per day and I can get that pretty easy if I get on the treadmill or do Leslie Sansone walking tape for a mile or two. I recently had some lab done that confirmed that. My A1C indicates that I am prediabetic. I really do not want to go on meds so that makes me that much more determined to lose at least twenty pounds and continue to be consistant with my exercise. I am tracking food and exercise and since December 23, 2012 (when I got my fitbit and got serious) my numbers are improving and I have lost a little weight. I am moving ... I blame my work schedule! Really it is just a me problem. I always think I have to do all my exercise at once. I have to get into the mindset that I can do 10 early morning and 10 minutes at lunch and 10 more in the evening if I want to. Just about everyone can find 10 minutes in their day to do a little exercise. My goal is to make this a habit and then to increase the minutes as I go along. Then I spent about three hours cleaning a building and washing windows, climbing in and out of the windows. I was excited to think of how much physical activity I had done only to be a little flustered when I hit the scales this morning.
