At my 139 weight I was really feeling good - but I am having trouble maintaining it. I am now at 142 and am staying there. I look healthy........... this may just be the right size for me. I can tone and continue to exercise for now and make the educated eating decisions that I have learned. I guess, I am hanging in there, but I am definately not depriving myself...........

Dunno - if I want to start back to the mor... Wed, 14 May 2008 23:31:59 EST Oops.... LADYLOCK-PALOOZA Ok, so I had my final weigh in at work. I lost in total 18 lbs. unfortunately I celebrated with my absolute FAVORITE cookies - treats - ladylocks. I ate like as many as I could in five minutes and my husband really did comment - that looks so gross! So I said - just look away and let me have them! Ha ha. Seriously - it has been tough without someone to weigh me in this week. Geez. I didn't realize how much I depend on that! Accountability......... really does mean something.
... Mon, 7 Apr 2008 22:26:41 EST At work Biggest Loser last weigh in was today - Thanks SP I had the last weigh in at work today for our work contest. I lost three pounds on (the work scale) which took me to a grand total of 18 lbs lost. I do not think I won the contest because it was based on starting weight and percentage lost. I think that there were others who lost more and were smaller when they started............. how'd they do it? Dunno.

I don't think it matters............ I know I am doing this the healthy way and am glad. I do feel more informed when I l... Mon, 31 Mar 2008 19:53:32 EST Lost 15 lbs with SP - hooray! Whoopee! I know - I could have made something healthier.......but - I wasn't going to have time to prepare a dinner coming from work......... so I guess I am alright - tomorrow is another day and I am ready to start anew! Yippee. I don't think one day will make or break me..... what does - are a whole bunch of good days together and consistency.

Wed, 12 Mar 2008 22:29:19 EST How can I get back into the groove? Any suggestions for getting my butt back up and working out? I have watched the calories all week and ate well - but have been a little overwhelmed with........"life" this week and totally ditched my elliptical and bowflex machine.

Sun, 2 Mar 2008 23:08:40 EST Losing motivation? I know that I am motivated - but this week - work, family, custody issues -- I just bailed on my exercise plan. I did eat ok this week - and tracked food when I could. Sat, 23 Feb 2008 22:27:40 EST Photos posted chili contest I didn't win - but I had a great time preparing and being there. Was alot of fun! Mon, 18 Feb 2008 19:00:58 EST Chili Contest The local community center is having a chili cookoff. I registered a few weeks ago. I love love love to cook and try new things......... so I thought it would be really fun to enter this contest. The other day when it snowed really bad I invited all the neighbor kids over to "taste test" and perfect my recipe. All in all - I counted my chili tastings - a few teaspoons here and there as a "dinner serving" - it was so much fun. They had a blast and my daughter enjoyed it as well.
... Sat, 16 Feb 2008 23:34:19 EST Liked this from motivational quotes...... “I expect to pass through this life but once. If, therefore, there can be any kindness I can show, or any good thing that I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now as I shall not pass this way again.” Mon, 11 Feb 2008 21:31:36 EST Weigh in........... Today Weighed in today at 146.0 - was good. I wore something to work I haven't been able to fit in awhile and really liked how it fit. Was glad to get some clothes off of the hanger and put to use. Whoopeeeeeeeee - I am this far! Super busy at work today - did not feel like eating - drank tons of water and did a big grocery shopping after work. By the time I got home I didn't feel like doing anything - but I did eat a snack of tortillas and salsa. I will have a better day tomorrow - I was out... Mon, 11 Feb 2008 21:19:06 EST Live to eat or eat to live? First Restaurant visit...... I am realizing that with each day that I move through that I am successful with - I am learning that I am really making better decisions. Went to breakfast this morning with a friend of mine - Eat 'n Park - and had a healthy breakfast. 1 serving egg beater, 2 whole wheat toast 1 packet spread thin of margarine, and a fresh fruit cup - hot tea with lemon. That was great. I wasn't tempted at all. I am so glad that I have the resources here from SP - because the motiviation is here - and m... Fri, 8 Feb 2008 22:10:27 EST I didn't know that! Check out my SparkFavorite today! I really liked the article about nutrition that I read today about the complex carbohydrates........... whole wheat, brown rice - both easy for me to incorporate into my diet. Also - the amounts of raw vs cooked veggies to make up a "serving" size. I learned alot and am glad I read up.

This is going to make this week's meal planning a breeze. Fri, 8 Feb 2008 22:01:41 EST The water challenge............... Ok today was the weigh in and I was told I lost two pounds - I think I am 152 on the work scale and 149.0 on my home scale. This is alright - as long as it is steady! I am taking off the evening from exercising as it is not scheduled and I could use the day off. Tomorrow I will be back at it.

I started the water challenge - to drink 8 glasses a day. Holy mackeral! I get more exercise at work running to go pee! So I guess it is a win win. I added a pop up to remind me to dri... Mon, 4 Feb 2008 19:44:39 EST Tomorrow is a weigh in.......... Monday morning at work we have all been weighing in........ a contest of sorts. Sun, 3 Feb 2008 19:05:42 EST (no title)
Ok today's weigh in was minus 1 lb for the week. I must say I like my home scale much better. Also, I feel like I retain water the longer the day goes on......... is that normal? Why so much fluxuation I wonder........

Tried a half avocado/thin sliced red onion/ 1/2 can of plain diced tomatoes with homemade dressing of red vinegar, chives, parsley, olive oil, salt/pepper and it was pretty filling. I have been using the WW point system as a guide to my amount of food/calories, etc. but I feel kind of off the wagon because I am using some of ... Sun, 27 Jan 2008 15:57:48 EST Something DOES have to happen I am only just a few days in and already I am noticing some control coming easier. I think the desire to do well is stronger than the food. Well........... that and there are NO good snacks in this house!! Ha ha. I suppose brushing my teeth every hour has its benefits too. I won't feel hungry when I am minty fresh right? Just joking - not every hour but it has always worked for me in the past to get me through some cravings.

Thu, 10 Jan 2008 21:23:34 EST
