A Local Lazy Day

Georgia's softball tournament 80 miles from here was rained out and her local game was only four miles away. We got to spend a lazy Saturday at home. Hasn't happened in a long, long time, since March 1, I think. Back on the road, albeit a short one, tomorrow and then again next weekend. The life of a grandfather!

And a rainy day isn't bad either. The weatherman predicts rain all weekend and so far he is right. Unlike Camelot, sometimes rain on the weekend is good. In this case it caused the cancellation of softball tournaments and soccer games which t6otally freed up my weekend to do some stuff around the house that needs doing.
