My old wardrobe had become very dysfunctional. Last week I went out and splurged on some new pants, underwear, shorts and pajamas. My T shirt collection still ranges from L to 3XL, so I was not in a hurry to replace my vintage Ts. Another inch and I will need to replace my belts as the two that I have are on their last notch.

Mind you It is nice having clothes that fit, look good and do not fall down arou... Sat, 15 Oct 2016 10:11:17 EST All Good things take Time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6242246 I remember when I was first started this weight loss Journey on 2/1/2016. I could not understand why I had not lost 10 pounds by the end of the first week. The task and goals I had set seemed impossible. It is now 8 months later. I have lost 40 lbs, 7-8 inches off my waist, and 2 inches off of my neck. The system works if you work it. Don't be in a hurry, keep your positive thoughts, and most of all keep on Sparking.
Mon, 26 Sep 2016 17:14:59 EST Ten Pounds at a Time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6226138
262 to 252, 19 days----252 to 242, 51 days----242 to 232 63 days---232 to 222 37 days

As they say, all good things take time Sun, 28 Aug 2016 20:37:42 EST My Ideal First Date http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6211814 Excuse this blog, I have been actively Sparking since 2/1/2016. 262lbs to 226lbs and spark is responsible. Been through a lot of changes as of late. This is a question that was asked of me just recently. The answer is silly, and had nothing to do with losing weight. The question "your Ideal first date"

We would meet at a dog park. Your dog, who is bigger than my Shih Tzu . We separate them, and realize that we were meant for each other. Wed, 3 Aug 2016 22:04:22 EST Crossing the Next Great Divide http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6188283 So far my biggest milestones in my weight loss journey have been, 10 lbs., 20 Lbs., and now 30 lbs. When I reach 40 lbs. that will bring me to my current goal of 222 lbs. Between those last two achievements will be what I would like to call crossing the great divide. This will be achieved when my BMI goes from 30 to 29.9. I will no longer be obese, but merely overweight. It is amazing what that little tenth on the BMI means to the course of your life. It is especially meaningful to me be... Thu, 23 Jun 2016 13:50:52 EST Every Picture tells a Story...... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6160101 I would encourage everyone to document their weight loss with pictures. Nobody likes to have their picture taken when they are at their heaviest. I would always be shocked when walking along a mirrored wall, or reflective store windows and I would see my image. My first thought would be, "who is that fat guy"

I have dieted successfully on a couple other occasions and several different diet plans. I thought that I would be able to sleep it off, and wake up in the morning my usual chipper self. Sat, 23 Apr 2016 10:23:20 EST Scale Manipulation http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6146108 I will admit, I weight myself several times a day. I guess you could call me addicted to the scale, or a scale junkie. My weigh in day is Hump Day, better known as Wednesday. I can guarantee you that when I weigh in on Wednesday it is the least I have weighed in all week long.

Wednesday: Right after weigh in, I meet with some friends for breakfast. Although I order smart it is difficult to stay under 400 calories. It Is not unusual to meet another friend for a beer or two aft... Tue, 19 Apr 2016 23:39:59 EST How to get the most out of your weigh in. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6138777 Probably the wrong title for this BLOG. How to get the least out of your weigh in might be more appropriate. (sorry about the double spacing after my periods, but old habits are hard to break) Back to the weigh in! Did you know that a balloon weighs more when it is inflated? This is a fact. So when you do your weekly weigh in, take off all your clothes (including your socks Autiej) exhale, hold your breath and get on the scale with out any air in your lungs. I am not saying this is a g... Sat, 9 Apr 2016 21:43:28 EST A little overboard today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6136807 I started the day with an eight hundred calorie breakfast. I actually ordered the fresh fruit instead of potatoes to go with my corn beef hash and egg beaters and still went over the 800 calorie threshold. That was followed by a trip to a local watering hole for 3 oz of bourbon, and on lite beer with a water back. Then add ten pistachios to that and I had consumed about 1200 hundred calories all before 1 PM this afternoon. At least I had a successful weigh in prior to my foray into a "chea... Thu, 7 Apr 2016 03:07:00 EST Waisting away http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6135594 Hey Autie how are you today. Funny you should pick this topic for todays blog. It is a subject that is always on my mind. I do however look at it from a different perspective. When I empty a yogurt container (of the Greek kind) I will use a spatula to scrape the remaining residue from the container. Since I am counting those 80 calories I am going to be darn sure I get all the goodness that's coming to me. This affliction goes beyond yogurt containers. I will lick the measuring spoon ... Tue, 5 Apr 2016 14:01:25 EST a little back tracking http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=6127998 Pizza was the last meal I had before I started my current diet. My biggest problem with Pizza is we would order a large pizza, my wife would only eat 2 slices. The rest was for me, dinner, before bed snack, and always cold pizza for breakfast the next morning. I had a similar experience with weight gain over a two day lax period which included, a Mexican combination plate, (enchiladas, rice, beans, and naturally chips with melted cheese), Lunch from IN-N-OUT, and 20 oz of beer to go with m... My original goal was to get to 210 pounds by December 10th. Well I have managed to lose 52 pounds and my weight is down to a healthier 215.8 lbs., I am just a little bit burnt out by the whole process right now. It could be the plateau that I have been struggling with for the last 4 weeks, or it could be the holiday season. Whatever the reason is I am going to take a break.
My plan is...
