JEWELMAKER1's SparkPeople Blog JEWELMAKER1's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community Week Four I have not been on SparkPeople lately. That is because I have totally immersed myself with Dr. Gann's diet. To my great happiness, it is working! I am down 27.4 lbs! So, Spark friends, I'll be back when I am able to use the menu suggestions or for exercise videos. In the mean time, thank you Jane for always being so supportive and I hope you know I appreciated every wonderful message. Good luck one and all.
J. Thu, 26 Mar 2015 07:46:25 EST End of Week One Diet of Hope So, one whole week eating no carbs, very few fruits, eating mostly veggies and strictly reduced calories has resulted in a 7lb weight loss. There are no packaged foods, everything is fresh and this is the absolute definition of eating "clean". It is a challenge. It is hard to fit in time to cook, eating out is a pain, and since it is so strict, I miss grapes, apples and other "good" foods. I will give this my all and stick with it. Mon, 2 Mar 2015 10:24:45 EST Dr. Gann's Diet of Hope My last blog was November 1st, 2014. Over the past year I have lost and gained the same 10lbs over and over. I stopped blogging because amid all the success stories, I became frustrated and defeated. Yes, I bumped up my exercise, yes, I tried all the suggestions members and Spark offered. NOTHING worked. Add to the mix some health issues. One severely impacted my ability to walk for long distances and the other was an operation on my bottom teeth. For six weeks I had to eat soups and very so... Fri, 27 Feb 2015 10:47:16 EST Taking to the mat when I can't take it on the road Its that time of year when the festivals and art shows run nearly every weekend and if we are not setting up for a show, we are busy making more product and trying to fit in all the things that keep our lives so busy.

Yesterday I spent the morning helping out at my grandson's Halloween party. If they have more angels than you? If they're any more loved than you are now loved? If they have suffered more, worked harder, or waited longer than you? The combination of high heat and high humidity is really starting to wear on me and the rest of the desert dwellers. My enthusiasm for getting up early to exercise is gone. Fri, 11 Jul 2014 13:08:38 EST Wonderful Weekend This 4th of July weekend was one of the most fun we've had in a long time.
