Day 15 http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5524050 Today is my 15th day in a row of exercising every day. I spent two hours in the gym today. Started off with 1/2 an hour on the treadmill, then I did every machine so both upper body and lower body got a good workout. So did the abs!

Hubby and daughter are at a hockey game so I spent the afternoon rearranging my living room. Dinner is in the oven. We are having roasted potatoes and veggies w/ Terryaki Chicken. Now, I'm kicking back and relaxing in front of the fire.
... Sat, 26 Oct 2013 17:30:32 EST Just Move http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5523499 I didn't have transportation to go to the gym tonight because my daughter wanted to go to a Halloween party. So, instead of throwing in the towel and not getting any exercise in, I made sure to do 30 minutes of exercise at home. It may not be my normal workout for Friday nights but at least I did something.

If all else fails, just move!
Deb Fri, 25 Oct 2013 22:00:27 EST Thursday Re-Cap: Day 13 Streak http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5522556 Went to run with my two friends tonight; but, one couldn't make it and the other wanted to walk. I was disappointed at first; but, then I realized that I've been working my butt off for 13 days straight and I could probably use a little easing up on the intensity. So, we walked 2.4 miles and enjoyed some nice conversation.

Sometimes you have to take the time to slow down. It's not necessary to workout until you burn out. Have fun and enjoy yourself!

Deb Thu, 24 Oct 2013 19:31:38 EST Looking for Suggestions from all SparkPeople http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5522019 One of my goals for my upcoming 50th year challenge is to try some sort of new fitness activity every month to expand my horizons. It's definitely been a great workout for my arms and legs with all the sanding and ladder climbing. Also, getting quite a bit of steps in each day!

Tonight is Week 1 Day 3 of our C25K program. I am finding this twice a week workout to be very slow. Tue, 22 Oct 2013 09:06:13 EST My 50th Year Goals http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5518870 I have made a huge decision on the goals I want to accomplish in my 50th year on this planet. I'm tired of going through life barely living. Avoiding the fun things because of the shame I feel of the body I inhabit. Not being healthy enough to participate in life to the fullest. But, I have to admit, I'm scared. Scared of failing.

I've been here before...made goals that were huge, publically proclaimed my intentions, and never followed through. Usually going out means dinner and I didn't want to have any temptations of an overly mouthwatering menu ending my week. But, he was so proud, so I said yes. I am going to pick myself up and cut the crap. I can't let the craziness of life and it's problems stop me from my goals. So, it's time to pull up my boots by their straps and stop this pattern before I lose all of the progress I've m... It was definitely a good workout as I trudged through snowdrifts up to my hips and tried to throw shovels full of snow up on top of plowed snowbanks that were higher than my shoulders. LOL! Thank God for my plow guy....at least I only have to shovel walkways, porches, and decks. Oh! And paths to the propane and oil fill! We can't forget those!

After my snow workout I came into the house and changed into ... I did it. Day 36 of Insanity. Holy crap it was harder than h***! It was the start of month 2 and the workout consisted of both the Fit Test AND Max Interval Circuit...84 minutes between the two. I honestly don't think it would have been any easier if I didn't do the Fit Test first; but, I'm sure doing it first didn't help in trying to get through the actual workout! LOL!

I hav... He's on the eastern seaboard and here he comes in the form of a Nor'Easter named Nemo. 425 14 Already the stores are having a hard time keeping up with shelves that are constantly needing to be re-stocked. How is my family preparing for the upcoming Apocolypse? Last night I spent 90 minutes hauling around a half a cord of wood from the yard to the deck so it wouldn't get buried under 2' of snow. It was a great workout! ... Thu, 7 Feb 2013 07:27:24 EST In God I Trust http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5239306 Just stopping by to give a quick end of the day update. It's Day 3 of my second exercise streak 244 . I did my 34th day of Insanity today. I"m still enjoying the workout but a little nervous about what is up ahead in the program. 24

I'm still taking babysteps to get through this rough patch I'm in and trusting in God to see me through. I may not understand things all the time but I trust Him to show me the way. <img src="http://photos-ak.sparkpeople.com/... Tue, 5 Feb 2013 21:00:12 EST And the Walls Came Crashing Down..... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5235314 There is no such thing as perfection.

There, I said it!

I spent January pushing myself to be perfect with my goals. I wanted to reach them 100%. I had a wonderful month and hit my my goals every single day pushing myself to get my exercise done even when I was sick as a dog. When February 1st rolled around, I was proud to recap the month even if I still needed to tweak my eating habits a bit. I posted on my blog, tooting my own horn for all the world to see.
<B... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 07:10:32 EST Bad Day... http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5233696 I'm sitting here in my office at 8:00 at night, not wanting to go home. DH and I have had a big fight. I'm serioulsy thinking after 30 years together maybe we should go our own ways. I won't go into details.

I have not done Insanity today. I usually do it when I get home from work. I see my streak coming to an end and it makes me even sadder. If I break the Insanity streak, I'll break my exercise streak as well. I'm trying to motivate myself into getting up and at least do... Fri, 1 Feb 2013 19:57:24 EST
