The only miscue, Tuesday, when I went to the movies and ate too much AMC popcorn. Thanks to the encouragement of spark teams (5% summer challenge casual travelers, small goals challenge, emotional eaters, 10K steps per day...) for all your encouragement. <BR> <BR> Exercise has been good, as it usually is in the summer, and I have set a goal of losing 2 lbs. per week during the 5% challenge, with two successful weeks ... I am eating a lot more vegetables and salad these days, but still way too many calories. One step, one day, at a time. Sat, 13 Sep 2014 19:28:52 EST A New Day, A New Year Today is the start of a new year, and a new start to healthy living. Portion and calorie control were not good last quarter of 2013, but a new year, and new commitment to reducing body fat, has begun. Wed, 1 Jan 2014 12:15:08 EST Why am I eating so much? My over eating has been occurring, mostly, 3-7 p.m. Why is this? It seems to be emotional. Exercise has been great, most of the time weight is heading in the right direction, but just one indulgence wipes out 2-3 days of good eating and exercise. This afternoon close to 1,600 calories were consumed 12:45-3:45 p.m., during plan period at school and right after school ended. Wish I could figure out what causes this. Sat, 9 Feb 2013 20:49:19 EST hanging in there not as good of a day eating today, but got some exercise, 15 min. on elliptical jogger. better eating tomorrow. Tue, 5 Feb 2013 22:31:50 EST if every day were like today... Another great day! Good eating, good exercise. Now to get to bed at a decent time. Not wise eating choices around my teaching schedule. Exercise is good this week. Still striving each day to make better, more healthy, lifestyle choices. If every day were like today, I would reach my goal weight within six months. Mon, 21 Jan 2013 21:01:42 EST still struggling, but moving forward Last night I made a poor choice of eating too much ice cream, but my focus today is back on track, and continuing to make more healthy food choices. Exercise has been better this week also. Wed, 16 Jan 2013 10:19:12 EST good sugar control, too many calories Third consecutive good day of sugar control and exercise! Unfortunately, I saw two slices of cheese pizza about 8 pm this evening I did not need, and should not have eaten, but I allowed my tendency to indulge in food to overpower my good sense and reason, and ate them. No more food tonight, possibly some more exercise, and keep improving tomorrow.
