Since then, my diet has stayed healthy overall. Snacks are still nuts, veggies, fruit and cheese instead of potato chips, candy, pop and other heavily processed foods. Exercise has come down a lot, I am trying to work in 4 days a week of Cardio, and not being successful at it because of working, being busy with the kids or the fact that I have not been feeling well. Aside from the elation I felt at reaching my goal, I did not feel very good. When I got so close to reaching my target weight, I started starving myself, stopped hydrating myself (unconsciously) and started running my butt off to get down to 194. At weigh in time, I felt like garbage and my shins felt shredded, hurting very badly along with my knees and hips. Have not been on the treadmill since Sunday morning as it is all I can do to make it through the work day then sleep like the dead when I get home. Not eating much though - in fact had to pretty much force myself to eat dinner last night for the first time since Monday. Weighed in this morning at 200 pounds even. A loss of 1.8 pounds since last Sunday's official weigh-in. I think most of this weight is being lost through night sweats. Body aches all over and can't get warm. Oh well, last time I felt like this I lost like 5 pounds so we'll see what happens here. Came in at 201.8 this morning, a loss of 2.6 for the week! That's a total loss of 43 pounds since Christmas! I usually can't stand fish but am trying to work it into my diet for health benefits. Fried up cajun-rubbed salmon today and glazed it with a mixture of orange marmalade and lime juice. The salmon was OK (which is actually a BIG accomplishment considering how much I do not like fish) but the extra glaze that was left in the pan carmelized into a sort of taffy-like orange candy, strongly infused with cajun seasoning. Went on a feeding frenzy here. Even indulged in a small bag of potato chips. I know EXACTLY what did me in too. No snacking between meals so when it did get to dinner, I was famished. Well, the damage should not be as bad as last week. Had a small breakfast and a lighter lunch before succumbing to wild abandon when it came to dinner. Well, today I THOUGHT I was doing good for dinner, ordering a turkey club as opposed to the 2 coney hot dogs I wanted to order but when I plugged it into the calorie counter when I got back, I discovered that this singular sandwich was a whopping 770 calories. I decided to take my second workout of the day as far as I could go. Did 50 minutes on the treadmill to burn a total of 519 calories. I did 378 minutes and more than doubled my goal for calorie burn, scorching 3318 calories. I did not lose my typical 4 pounds this week though, I lost 3, weighing in at 215.4. I'll still take it.
