Summer is my own personal devil. It's when I find it the hardest to stay on track. For several reasons. <BR> <BR> Wedding Season. I'm a wedding photographer. Spring-Fall are my busy seasons. I've recently been on the hunt for a really good pair of exercise capri's. I've been working out a lot more and because I carry most of my weight in my belly, it's hard to find something that covers the belly but doesn't fall down once I start moving. <BR> <BR> So, I've tried a couple different pairs with no luck. I did some research and found what I wanted. I wanted a pair of yoga capris WITH a drawstring. They were at walmart and sold only online. I purchased them right then and there. <... With summer here I haven't been doing so well, but I'm making a conscious effort once again. <BR> <BR> I got some new sneakers last week because I realized I quit going to the gym because my feet were hurting. So, I grabbed some new sneakers and FINALLY made myself go to them gym yesterday. I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical. I'm going to strive for 45 today. <BR> <BR> I also have some really good things for my lunches and breakfast this week. <BR> <BR> Oatmeal for breakfast, a chicken... I was disappointed in myself when I got them. <BR> <BR> I’ve got some work to do…. <BR> <BR> Cholesterol my numbers: 210 (should be less than 200) <BR> Triglycerides my number: 249 (should be between 35 and 160 - I'm on medicine for this but I haven't been taking it religiously taking it) <BR> HDL Cholesterol (good cholesterol) my number: 32 (should be higher than 35) <BR> LDL (Bad cholesterol) my number: 128 (should be 130 or less) ... Thu, 21 Feb 2013 21:03:10 EST nervous for the dr tomorrow So, I have my semi-annual check-up with the DR tomorrow. <BR> We'll be focusing on my blood pressure and weight. <BR> My blood pressure is in a good place thankfully but I've gained some weight since I was there last. <BR> <BR> I know I need to lose weight and I try but SO many things seem to get in the way lately. <BR> <BR> So, today I am not going to worry about the results of my lab work. So, we're settled in our place and am settling into some sort of routine. <BR> <BR> Sunday I exercised for about 45 minutes while watching The New Normal on Demand. I walked in place, side to side steps, knee lifts, kicks and did some lunges and butt lifts. <BR> I hurt Monday and yesterday! Since I haven't had the time to go and have had to quit going to ww to save on money I haven't weighed myself in awhile. To be honest, I was REALLY nervous. Last week was really good! I was good all last weekend and week and on Saturday when I stepped on the scale at weight watchers I was pleased! I had lost 3.6lbs! Grandma made an amazing dinner, I made some cheesecake (but didn't eat much!) and Did really well! YEA! So, I got up and went to my weight watchers meeting this morning and only lost .2. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for thinking about me and my bum leg! In the morning when I wake up it feels great until I get up on it! Thu, 8 Nov 2012 09:36:51 EST ugh! Yesterday was a disaster. My leg hurt so bad I was doing everything I could to not cry. I eventually decided to go to the little clinic at Kroger. They were nervous about my leg and told me to call my DR to see her that day. <BR> Then, my DR tells me she wants me to go see an orthopedic. <BR> 3 hours an xray and $115 later I have a hematoma (fancy word for a bruise) but it's a really bad bruise. I ate really good all day, then we came home from work. I was all ready to make some chicken and some veggies when EJ's (husband) Grandma offered to buy us thai food for dinner.
