As with any big lifestyle change (new job, big move, relationship change), these take time and effort, planning and focus. I have chosen to cut out poultry and red meat from my diet, today is day 4. I can't say that I feel better yet because I've been eating a ton of carbs so I'm feeling very sluggish. I'm well aware of how to make smart choices but a combination of bad excuses and laziness has taken it's toll on my effort. I have found that I not only gained back the weight I had been trying... Better than nothing! (and that's the attitude you must keep!!) Yesterday I had a sore throat that seemed to be getting worse throughout the day and I woke up this morning with swollen glands, I attribute this to going out Tuesday night and wearing shorts while I should've been wearing pants, smoking cigarettes socially, being outdoors and not getting... But definitely drank more calories than necessary, (ex. patron margarita) but it was pretty easy sticking to clear straight liquor and just water.
