Yes for some reason I always do better if I start on the 1st or a Monday, and this time it was extra perfect, bc It was the 1st of the month on a Monday ;) So I have been doing pretty awesome actually, eating wise. I am cutting all refined sugar and white flour out of my life. This is hard for me since I LOVE sweets. But I know that they are awful for my weight, and most of all the health of my body. I have been reading so... Sun, 24 Aug 2014 07:31:36 EST starting AGAIN http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5449069 So Ive been on this journey now for awhile...4yrs give or take a few months. i have lost 117lbs total. That sounds like alot. That IS alot, but you know whats so crazy is that I still feel like I look that same way that I did when I was super big. Size 24 pants to size 10. I still feel disqusted with my physical apearance at times, and then I look in the mirror and I see what a difference there is. I look at pictures, actually I showed a coworker today my fat pictures and she didnt believe... Thu, 28 Mar 2013 16:04:43 EST Totally bummed. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5224307 Almost two weeks ago I injured My heel while running 4-5 miles 4 days a week. I thought maybe it was plantar faciatis (my spelling is off) which is not an injury you really want as a runner. Sometimes it takes almost a year to heal if it gets really bad. I don't think that's what I have thank God! I think it is just inflammation of the tissues of my heal because I was wearing those toe sneakers to run in which doesn't really give much support but its like running barefoot which I Love! But I ... Sat, 26 Jan 2013 12:01:52 EST Scale obsession http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5198190 I've had this debate with myself for a long time...is it good to weigh yourself everyday or every other day? When I way myself everyday (or just about everyday) I feel it helps me keep on track somewhat....like if I weigh myself in the morning and I'm up a pound or so when I'm at work and there's a bday party I'm more motivated to say NO to that yummy looking piece of cake. But on the flip side, when I weigh myself all the time it pretty much dictates my mood for the day, which is soooo not g... I've been doing fairly well this first week until today...(and a little bit yesterday too) my daughters are quite the little bakers and its not helping me out any!!! My oldest got one of those cake pop makers and made some yummy cake pops and then my middle daughter decided she wanted to make some chocolate chip cookies... My weakness...and they were soooo yummy that I had some for breakfast. So my day started bad. Chocolate chip cookies + pmsing = di... Even though I lost weight from October and then gained some back in Decemberat the beginning, then I ate and didnt hold back on anything over the holidays and I lost another 5 lbs! I dont know HOW that happened...but Im not complaining at ALL! So as of this morning, I have lost a total of 29lbs since June (having a baby and all) and I weigh less than what I did before I was pregnant. I have only 2.4lbs to lose before I am under 200 ...
