It was the Runners on Parade part of the Fort Wayne 3 Rivers Festival. There were over 1200 runners. I actually was able to cut almost 5 minutes off my time compared to the first one! <em>104</em> <BR> <BR> Jennifer and the boys were there to root me on. They are so great because about a minute into the run it started raining. They waited for me to finish in the rain. She was able to get a pic on me starting the race but the rain was too... I was really excited. Unfortunately I was visiting with family this weekend also. I got 5 hours sleep maybe the night before. There were more people there then I had thought. It was small compared to many of the other 5k s I had heard about. Only 80 to 85 poeple. <BR> <BR> It was really humid but atleast it was 7 in the morning. I felt really good unfortunately I ran out of time to run more! After having a rough week 5, I got some great words of encouragements from friends and family! I thank everyone for those kinds words! Well I couldn't make it through the whole run/walk. So I just walk the rest of the time. I figured I woulf try to do week 4 again then start week 5 next week. Well I couldn't even make it though it. Physically I feel ok. I just think mentally I am just not there this week. I have felt like I just not doing enough. It started pretty rough but by the third workout I was feeling pretty good. I did start running outside this week and I cannot beleive the difference from running on a treadmill and outside. Today I finished week one of the sweatsuit to swimsuit bootcamp (my first bootcamp) and the first week of the C25K. Both have been challenging and easy at times. I am excited to get started on the second week. I stepped on the scale this morning and so far it appears I have dropped close to 7 pounds in the first week. I have officially started my first Sparkpeople Boot camp. So far I am in better shape than I thought.
