They are both really enjoying and appreciating life at 75. Since it was the first available appointment with my orthopedic specialist, I took the day off. One more day of break! He did an x-ray of my right foot and found nothing major, other than arthritis. I treasure each holiday more as time goes by. My parents and in-laws range in age from 75 to 80. Many of my friends have lost their parents. Mine are all in relatively good health. We went to the Easter buffet at a local restaurant and they are all still able to manage this on their own. They also seem to appreciate life more as they age. There were many pretty spring displays with bright colors and patterns. It was fun just to go and look at it all. You do not need to purchase the items to enjoy looking at them. Today's closet cleaning was disappointing. The majority of my summer clothes are size 10 and I am currently size 14. I am twenty pounds over where I need to be in order to wear most of my shorts.
