Still moving toward a 5% goal. I can say although the weight is moving slow, I havent been. I am moving more than I have in the past ten years. Its hard, especially when I look at the people that walk past me and they are just cruising along and I look like I have just run a marathon. I am up to just over a mile a day in my walking. Considering that a month ago I could barely get around the block I think progress is going ... Tue, 25 Jun 2013 12:17:54 EST Changes http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5233319 So as of January 15 have made small but significant changes to my life. Staying strong and motivated has been difficult in the past. As with anything I have a tendency to start strong and go balls to the wall (pardon the expression) One small change this time.....not looking at a weight loss. Don't get me wrong I have a weight loss goal, being over 300lbs how could I not. However, this time I am more focused on me. Putting things in my life in order, my health, my family, my finances, a... Fri, 1 Feb 2013 13:54:56 EST aaaahhhh my wine http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5159301 I have listened to to sparks radio today. I have pretended it wasn't what was the down fall of my weight loss.....however, if I am going to be serious about weight loss I have to be serious about my wine. Every night I have one to two classes of wine. Sometime on weekends more depending on who is over and what we are doing. I have always allowed for the calories in my journal as if it was part of a healthy diet.(who am I kidding) Now don't get me wrong I know there are some benefits to a g... But excepting the fact I am where I am and that I need to really make the changes not just read and talk about change! So starting to see things in that clear light again. Take one day and work one day... My goal is extremely short. Start and finish one day on sparks and my new life pl... Unfortunately scale only shows 3 down. Guessing thats better than three up but as so many times in the past let the scale dictate my mood..... So here is to another month. I am faithful my next month will be even better Sat, 1 Sep 2012 13:54:25 EST End of the week http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5009881 Ok first full week of tracking and checking out the site. Feel good about actually doing something about my weight instead of just wishing it away. No change in the scale but I am no taking that as a negative thing. I look at it as a very positive thing,(typically its up each week). So now the real work begins, printed out the shopping list for my plan and a bunch of new meal ideas, measured myself(very scary) and going to be starting an exercise plan. Nothing crazy, just getting moving ...
