Not so great at home, due to some family emergencies around health. In regards to my own health, I really haven't been able to exercise at all. I need to find time! The new year has been going fantastically! I've gone to zumba every single day since the first. My body feels different and not in a good way. The scale has been going up slightly, but today my body physically feels larger, but as though it happened overnight. <BR> <BR> Today is my first day of going back to being vegan. I'm nervous and excited, but my body is ready to feel good again. I did a 90 minute flow yoga class and it totally kicked my ass. I've pretty much had 13 hour days most of the last week and a half. Luckily, that's done and it's on to my job where I actually get a paycheck! WOO! I work about 30 hours this week, which is much more than usual, but I also don't have classes until next Monday. <BR> <BR> Because of all my training last week, I haven't been able to exercise since Wednesday. Today was alright. <BR> <BR> I only went jogging for 20 minutes this morning, but hey that's better than nothing! Whenever I wake up early for exercise (like at 4:30am), I think it's funny how I finish my workout before most people wake up. However, I went out last night, which also had an affect the results. All of a sudden, I decided I wanted a dozen donuts, and I wanted them NOW! There's only one place in town that sells vegan donuts, and it's a bit far. I realized that I won't be able to buy a dozen donuts again until I get a car or motorcycle, since I can't fit them on my bike. Thu, 27 Jun 2013 10:07:06 EST Exercise Success & Sugar Addictions Just got back from my morning run! On my days off of work, I try to wake up around 4:30am to go jogging. Today, I beat my longest distance (which was set a few weeks ago) of 5 miles. I got through 6.5mi today, which is slightly longer than my goal of 10k! And my overall pace was quicker than my run last Thursday. The beginning of this run was a bit of a strugglebus though. I need to figure out how to run at least a little bit on the days I do work.
