INFLATED's SparkPeople Blog INFLATED's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community I woke up not feeling well and I didn't make the trip. I prepared a salad to take on the trip last night. I watched a show about Janis Joplin and then started to watch My 600-lb. Life. I didn't finish watching the whole show, but went to bed.

My left side is sore today and I awoke feeling a bit nauseous. I got out of bed and sat in the rocker recliner for awhile and then got up to start my day. I didn't vomit or have acid reflux. Hubby left and went by himself to our son's house. He wouldn't take the sandwich he wanted, bacon and... Thu, 5 May 2016 12:08:54 EST I just feel happy today just because I belong to the Lord. Thanks to all that prayed about my sonogram. I'M PREGNANT!! No, I'm joking, I just look like I am. I went an hour early and it was a good thing I did. We went to the wrong Diagnostic Imaging place and were directed to the right one. I took a 16.9 oz. bottle of water with me to drink there so I wouldn't have a full bladder riding across pot-holed roads and I drank it in less than 5 minutes after check in. I actually had my test completed before my appointment time of 2 PM.

I have ... Wed, 4 May 2016 22:06:20 EST Ha, ha, ha, you and me, Little brown jug, don't I love thee! Ha, ha, ha, you and me, Little brown jug, "I don't" love thee!

"Little Brown Jug" was an old song about drinking. I am talking about the jug I had to put my urine in. My Mom used to sing the chorus of Little Brown Jug as she did her chores. She would go into a sing-song mode as she worked. My husband will hum while he works. I am supposed to do a 24-hour urine collection and take it to the lab. I started it at 6:32 AM yesterday and finished it this morning at 6:32 AM, then I showered and dressed to get ready to go to the lab.

I was looking at the lab slip when I noticed another paper of instructions for the urine collection. Sat, 30 Apr 2016 08:15:20 EST An appointment was scheduled today for a sonogram of my kidneys. Diagnostic Imaging called me today and scheduled a sonogram on my kidneys for Wednesday. I am to drink 16 ounces of fluid one hour before the sonogram. I plan, be the Lord Willing, to drink it at their facility instead of riding in the car with a full bladder.

Years ago, I had an umbilical hernia and a 3" piece of plastic mesh was put in behind my navel. Thu, 28 Apr 2016 23:27:05 EST Wildlife on our property today. We live on the outskirts of a city. I saw a gray squirrel on the railing to the side deck today, a mallard drake on the side of the pool and two rabbits in the back yard near the pool. The neighbor let out his two dogs and the rabbits left and the mallard went somewhere when it saw me. I didn't see where it went to.

We went to church this morning and then to our son's house for lunch of boneless chicken thighs done on the grill and made into sandwiches and salad. The floor was wet and I woke up my husband. The tubing to the ice maker was leaking and had sprayed on the wall right above the baseboard. He used the shop vac and I used a spin mop to get the water off the floor.

At the doorway from the kitchen to the hall way/living room, the carpeting was wet. We ran a fan on it. The plane my daughter and son-in-law were on, landed at Washington Dulles International Airport Wednesday night at 11:55 PM. On the way home, they stopped at Krumpe's Doughnut Shop, Sheetz and Martin's grocery store. They got to our house about 2 AM Thursday morning.

They slept in and we had breakfast. Mon, 18 Apr 2016 20:14:10 EST God is so good to me! Our daughter and son-in-law are visiting us. They arrived early Thursday morning and were to leave tomorrow. Tonight, they are staying with friends in Washington, D. C. and were going to go to the airport Saturday from there.
I was in the basement last night folding laundry and thinking how short the time was that we would see them. Hae! Blow the (wo)man down." We were at our son's house by 7:30 AM. His fiancee had my stuff out on the driveway and was setting up her own things. She told me she had inquiries about my bicycle, but since I hadn't put a price on it, she didn't sell it.

What a day to try to have a sale! She also has come upstairs a few times during the day today.

I got four things ready for the sale tomorrow, a mountain bike, a club chair, an old foot stool with carved legs and a wrought iron fern stand. It was raining when we came out of the preparers office. I came home and ate supper while hubby put on a sweatshirt and coat to go to the ballgame. I didn't want to go and stayed home.

We made an increase in our tax refund by listing the mileage to and from doctors, hospitals and the pharmacy. Crellie came up from the basement last night and the night before after my husband was in bed, the TV was off, and I was up using the computer.

She likes the new food the vet gave her and we are giving her medicine in an eye dropper twice a day. Thu, 7 Apr 2016 01:08:48 EST About our cat, Crellie. Requesting prayer. Our cat, Crellie, is having kidney or bladder problems. When I went to brush her today, the back of her hind legs, had urine on them. She went to the basement Sunday where her litter box is and hasn't come back upstairs. She is sleeping under hanging clothing in a closet (doorless) type area. I watched her use her litter box twice last night and she didn't pass anything, no urine or feces. Her vet appointment is 2:45 PM. She has never messed in the house and has no bad habi... Tue, 5 Apr 2016 15:43:33 EST I have had a very frustrating day. I worked on December receipts last night and finished them. On December 30, we made a loan to our future daughter-in-law because she had changed purses and she was fairly sure she lost her checkbook when she did it. She threw away the old purse with the checkbook in it. Then there was an entry of a $500 deposit in the register, but looking on my bank statement, there was no deposit made.

Yesterday, our cat, Crellie, got into the guest bedroom when my husband went in there.
