INFLATED's SparkPeople Blog INFLATED's Blog on SparkPeople, home of free diet plans and a healthy living community The pool has been cleaned and will need a little time to clear up. We worked on the pool Saturday and Sunday. We partially vacuumed it on Saturday, but the particles in the water were stirred up by it. We stopped and let the fine particles settle until yesterday after church. Hubby took a water sample to Pro Pools and was told to put 4 pounds of baking soda into it. While he was at Pro Pools, our son came over. We had been working on vacuuming. Our son is skinny and can walk around on the top of the sides of the pool and was able to get all the areas t... Mon, 27 Jun 2016 05:07:18 EST We put flocculant in the pool tonight. We have several evenings of severe thunderstorms here and we haven't done anything to the pool. We bought a bottle of flocculant which will bind the tiny floating particles and pull them to the bottom of the pool. Tomorrow, we will need to vacuum the stuff out onto the ground. I think we have used so much chemicals that the leaves and debris have become just fine particles.

I am hoping when we vacuum the pool that we don't stir up the stuff in the bottom and that it will be re... Sat, 25 Jun 2016 00:59:10 EST The family reunion. Yesterday, was the 41st family reunion on hubby's mother's side of the family. Her blood pressure drops and she passes out. Another family member said that she also passes out, but they decided not to put her on any medications. Day 23 Netting leaves off the bottom of the pool 120 minutes

I went out to the pool early this morning before 6 AM and used a net to skim the pool surface and to scrape along the bottom of the pool to remove leaves. When I looked out the window in the bedroom, I couldn't tell if there was any change in color. I thought it looked more aqua-colored when I stood at the edge of the pool.

Hubby had a doctor's appointment this morning and after that he took a water sample... Mon, 13 Jun 2016 05:15:09 EST My husband had our son order a new gadget for the pool. I know I go through this every year with our pool and the green water. Last night, I watched video after video. I came upon one video of a woman cleaning a pool. It had clear water, but she used a "leaf master."

I think we will really like this and it wasn't that expensive. My husband went to Wal*Mart to buy one, but they didn't have any. He drove over to our son's house this morning to have him order one online. We might have it by next Friday. When the protein first showed up in my urine, I had to do a 24-hour collection then, but nobody ever said I had kidney damage. My primary care office told me this time I could be in "kidney failure." The kidney doctor said, he only uses that term with people on dialysis.

I am going to see if I can change my doctor to the one hubby goes to. I am tired of this kind of thing. In my blog about Raystown Lake, PA I talked about my bathing suit being too big. We didn't fish at Raystown Lake because we would have had to purchase a non-resident's fishing license.

While at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland, we went to Walmart Sunday night. I found a one-piece, black Catalina bathing suit that fit, for less than $20.

Two elderly women were working the fitting rooms. Tue, 31 May 2016 23:16:15 EST Deep Creek Lake, Maryland My husband and I went to Deep Creek Lake Sunday afternoon. My sister wanted us to call her when we got close so she could make sure that someone was there to let us into the timeshare. We ate at Wendy's in Cumberland and they didn't have the salad that I usually get on my diet. I ate a burger and had an unsweetened iced tea to which I added artificial sweeteners. The bread, ketchup, processed cheese and onions are not on the list of allowed foods.

When we got to the timeshare... Sun, 29 May 2016 00:03:14 EST Pool problems today. We hired a new company this year to help us with our 24-foot, above-ground pool. The water in it is 4 feet deep when it is filled. The first mistake was that my husband turned on the hose and stuck it in the pool to fill it. The former owners put the eye of the pool under the pool deck. Water ran out of the eye because we didn't have the filter hooked up to the pool yet.

Pro Pools came out Wednesday and hooked up the sand filter and hoses to the pool. Thu, 26 May 2016 17:02:07 EST A big surprise! My husband took his blind brother to the doctor this morning. I was waiting on Pro Pools to come by and open our pool. They called and said they were on the way and two men came and hooked up the filter, then we had to fill the pool. Wed, 25 May 2016 00:59:55 EST Ask and you shall receive. You can Google it and read about it, if you are interested. It is not some new diet that someone came up with to make money with. Mon, 23 May 2016 22:30:35 EST I got to meet Dr. Eric Westman today at the Clarion Inn in Shepherdstown, WV. Today, I didn't think I would get to go to this meeting. I spoke with my son on Thursday about this meeting with Dr. Westman and a group of people that are following the low carb high fat ketogenic diet in West Virginia. I would have needed to buy tickets through PayPal, but I thought my son was going to do that for me and then we would reimburse him for it.

He didn't do that. My Dad told me I was going to get pinched by it. I told Dad, he wouldn't do that because, "He was my friend!" Dad let me learn a lesson. It got my index finger and pinched it until my finger bled. Mon, 16 May 2016 19:54:41 EST Our fishing trip this morning. None of us was very awake at 5:30 AM this morning. After breakfast, we probably left at around 9 AM. The guys decided to fish at Rocky Gap or Lake Habeeb as it is also called instead of going to The Savage River reservoir. My husband and son assured me that they would have bait there.
