So, I had some things going on in my life that got me completely off track, but I have found my way back here in the hopes of getting back on the weight loss wagon. It's been over a year since I have done any tracking, so I am getting back to it and so far it has gone well. I still need to get motivated about the gym or getting some type of exercise, but I'm taking it one step at a time. I really want to get back into shape. I read my past blog posts and I'm optimistic ... Wed, 20 Aug 2014 14:54:34 EST Weight loss update February was not kind to me. I was sick for half the month, thus unable to give it my all at the gym, so I didn't lose! But, I didn't gain anything either...Yay! So far for March I have lost 3 more pounds, putting me at a total of 13lbs. This makes me very happy. I haven't been in the 180s in over a year! This just fuels my fire even more...I'm doing it and it makes me happy. Wed, 13 Mar 2013 09:21:14 EST Sick and exercise There is nothing I hate more than being sick. I woke up yesterday with a stuffy! I went to the gym and did my workout and felt great. Today, I woke up with not only a stuffy nose, but a scratchy throat and stuffed up ears. I need to go to the gym today, but my body really is saying no. Does anyone else ever have this problem? What do you do? do you go? Do you stay home and rest? Tyne and I have been at it since January 1st and we are still going strong! I've lost 7lbs so far this month and I'm hoping to up it to 10 before we hit February. helps so much with the food and fitness logs and recipes. Okay, so I fell of the wagon a few months ago and stopped logging my food, going to the gym, etc. I felt awful. A friend and I made a new years pact to lose weight and exercise, so we joined Planet Fitness. We started on January 1st and since then I have cut soda out except for a treat (maybe once a week when I go to the movies), which is huge for me since I drank a ton of it every day. I've been under the weather, which made it harder for me to get to the gym. But, I was still able to go at least 3 days this week and I still managed to eek out a 2lb. loss! I followed my diet, I exercised every day, and drank plenty of water. I lost 3 lbs in one week!!! I'm so close to being out of the 200's, I can taste it! I haven't been that low in 6 months! I am ready to kick week 2's butt! Sun, 16 Sep 2012 17:35:48 EST Great Week! Day five of my weight loss journey and I'm feeling pretty good. I have gone to the gym 4 out of the 5 days, missing Thursday do to a migraine. But I still did some cardio at home by walking in my neighborhood for about 20 minutes with the dog. I've been doing great with staying within my calorie goal every day and I've been drinking plenty of water! I'm actually excited about weighing in on Monday to see how well I've done!
