Sun, 11 Mar 2018 23:56:18 EST entertaining my sister's family came over today. my nieces are good at running us ragged. they like to play with everything and be in every room. i continued teaching my niece to crochet. she is 9 and has little patience but she did get very comfortable of making chain stitches and learened to do a couple single stitches. she did get frustrated. i sent her home with a hook and ball of yard to practice. my sister said all she knows how to make a slip stich so she can get emma started. i also found a beginn... Sun, 11 Mar 2018 00:29:30 EST burrito with less i like americanized mexican food - large portions, loaded with cheese and meat, i was craving burrachos or chipolte. i was concerned about how much fat and calories. i compromised. i ordered it in a bowl with no tortilla, did not order chips. i forgot to ask them to add less rice but otherwise after calculating calories it was about 400 less then the loaded option. it was also nice to feel really full. Mon, 19 Feb 2018 20:38:14 EST viruses everywhere <em>527</em> <BR> my sister's household has been on and off sick for the last month. my other niece is also sick with a lung and ear infection. my dh also has it. so he has what i call the sick wave. he will feel good for about 20 minutes, then has a fever and is miserable for about an hour then he is really tired and crabby. <BR> <BR> so i want to keep distance from sick people so i dont get sick.everywhere you look it feels like there are viruses out to get me. Sun, 4 Feb 2018 20:12:32 EST daily goal spreadsheet i started a goal spreadsheet a couple weeks ago. my plan is to add a small goal or 2 each month and keep the old ones on the sheet until they become a habit. mostly i want to make sure i put effort into meeting them instead of waiting for "tomorrow". some habits are daily, others are things i want to do a couple times a week. This year there were 2 babies less then 6 months old. they were passed around a lot but were pretty smiley most of the time. a lot of food but i ate slowly and enjoyed it. it is hard to move aroung much in the house. it is crowded with about 50 people so it is hard to move around. i came home and was tired so not a very active day but still fun <BR> <BR> as a side note i... Fri, 15 Dec 2017 00:08:02 EST mini bottles of wine i occasionally enjoy a glass of wine. the local grocery store has mini bottles of wine. they are great because they are different kinds and each one has 2 small glasses or 1 medium glass. plus if it is something you dont like, there is little waste. <BR> <BR> sometimes i dont remember what kind or which brands i like. the small sample bottles are perfect. plus it helps with portion control.
