As i went to start my video for the bootcamp today my husband decided to work out on our workout machine in the same room. I have to say that part of me wanted him to leave the room. I really struggle with constant cardio because I have asthma and cant always go too fast, oh and I am not always too coordinated. Sun, 24 Jan 2010 14:59:02 EST Too early to start I woke up this morning at 4:00 am and knew there was no way i was going back to sleep. I mean whats the point? I have to wake up at 5 to exercise so unless i can fall back to sleep quickly Im not trying. I know this may be a normal time for some but not me. It actually ended up being a good thing because I was able to get some cardio time in and some leg exercises. Now I just have to do my bootcamp for the day and I will be done. Well after my slacker weekend I told myself I would do good this week and so I woke up this morning with no drive but promised myself I would do a little something. As I hemmed and hawed I started to run out of time. Finally I got off my butt and accomplished way more than I planned. I did the treadmill, the bootcamp video and worked my arms. Not a bad start for the week huh? Mon, 11 Jan 2010 18:33:47 EST An unproductive weekend Though I did great on Friday with exercise I did not follow throught this weekend. I have been tired and I started my peroid and so Im cramoy and have had no motivation to do anything. How can I push through this? And on top of that I think Im getting sick again. I have to do better this week. Sun, 10 Jan 2010 13:20:32 EST Finally Friday! I have to say that I am so glad its Friday! I have kept up with the bootcamp video everyday and my 30 minutes of cardio everyday and a little weight lifting. Im ready for a day off. I have woke up several times at 3:30 in the morning this week and havent been able to go back to sleep so Im a little tired. I need energy! Fri, 8 Jan 2010 16:56:58 EST A day with little done I woke up to my husband moving around to get out of bed and I ask "What time is it?" He said 6 am adn I shoot out of bed because I forget that the kids go back to school today. In the process my legs remind me of the work I did yesterday, what a pleasant reminder. ha ha. The jump out of bed was all the energy I coould take for awhile. Wednesday is one of the days I just do cardio, thank goodness, but can I get throught the 30 minutes? I also had to do the sparkpeople boot camp video. Thankful... Wed, 6 Jan 2010 19:33:33 EST Day 3 of the New Year~I did ok so far Day 3, halfway through the day. I woke up before church today and did the treadmill, I told myself 20 minutes but the music was so good and I was feelin good too so I made it to 30. Then I dedided to do a bootcamp day 1 10 minute video. Not bad for today! Woohoo! <em>244</em> Sun, 3 Jan 2010 17:31:42 EST Only two days in.... So as the new year began yesterday I laid in bed with my husband until 8 or 8:30( this is late for me.) As the day progressed I kept telling myself - you said you would exercise,don't make an excuse even 10 minutes is a start. Repeat, repeat, repeat. 5:30 approaches and I have yet to exercise and my husband is making something that smells delicious- White Chicken Chili. Sat, 2 Jan 2010 14:25:01 EST Excuses, Excuses Its all I have had for months. I have been struggling for months to get on track and stay on track. Due to a change in medicines (at least I think that's why) I am always tired and have no motivation.I have seen doctors, done bloodwork asked questions and all I here is everything looks fine. I wish I had someone who was close by that could walk with me or motivate me to get off my butt. So I was on spark people last night and found this saying that I have felt exactly what it was saying it goes like this- "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" I totally get this. When I look in the mirror and I see my progress and the clothes i wear and the definition I have I feel great. Fri, 28 Nov 2008 10:44:15 EST Do YOU workout when you're on vacation? My family and I are going on a cruise in about 3 weeks. This cruise is one of the reasons I dropped the chocolate and picked up the carrot. (not a fair trade, but its for the better) I feel better and I think I look better so I am excited for this. Although I am a little nervous, this is my first cruise but Im sure it will be great. The funny thing is I am so in to taking care of myself and exercising that one of the first things I thought about was how am I going to work out while im gone. T...
