On the 11th I was rear-ended on one of the main artery roads in our area. I was planning on working out at Curves. Both the man that hit me and I are ok. I had chest pain for 2-3 days and then that felt better. On the 12th, I started experiencing bad head pain that has lingered ever since. My DH has taken me to an urgent care facility twice and to my primary Dr. yesterday. The good news is that she (my doctor) is pretty confiden... Thankfully it was a fracture that did not displace the bone. I took her to an urgent care facility and they did xrays today. They did a comparison study because she is a teen as they were concerned with her growth plate. I am waiting for a call back to set up her appointment for a cast. The urgent care facility put a temporary splint on her and gave her some crutches. Though in pain, she braved it well. The doctor wante... Thu, 3 Oct 2013 12:10:23 EST Good Afternoon! Today there was a much need refreshing rain! It rained on Saturday and it was good to see the rain then too. I thank God for that! Every time I ask Him to send me a rainbow, He sends it in a variety of ways. This time He sent it through a word picture the last few days in my devotional time as I was reading Noah's account. It only seems fitting to have rain when reading about Noah. The rain and the reading reminded me to pray for those affected by the recent flooding in Colorado and to be... It is by necessity that I must do so today because I am recovering from a bad asthma attack that I had last night. It is a GOOD thing that I made that choice today for it is a reminder that I need to "Be still and know He is God!" I was praying for a way I could contribute to a mission at my church. I have been created as God's Masterpiece yet more often then not I feel like a mess. I feel like a Picasso piece at times when you see a bunch of abstract colors but no clear definition- at least not one that is visible to me. I feel like a color that's been spilled onto a page bleeding all over. However, I know I am being defined. I receive glimpses of positive changes and hints of transformation. I know I am in the Artist's Hands and that is a very good place to be. Tue, 13 Nov 2012 17:11:04 EST Good News I lost 4 inches in my waist and 1 inch in my abs. My body fat is down 1%.
