I got ill on Wednesday and am only feeling better today which means I couldn't go running. Looks like I'll be starting week 1 of the running plan again. Might as well do it tomorrow seeing as I'll have time. I couldn't do much yoga either but I did a few simple things this morning and managed them well enough so I should be ok to continue like normal starting tomorrow. Sat, 6 Jul 2013 17:48:10 EST First Run http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5407740 Well I started running today :) Actually, following the plan I found I walked for 4 mins then jogged for a minute and did this 4 times. I found the jogging a bit tiring so I'm glad I started small :) I can walk for miles and miles with no problem but as soon as any running is added it tires me out really quickly, which it won't do in a few weeks :) I did a little yoga too which felt so good when I got back from running. <BR> <BR> Next run will be on Wednesday :) Mon, 1 Jul 2013 18:18:01 EST Shopping http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5406261 Well the sports shop had a really nice sale on :) managed to get two tops, a sports bra, some running shoes and a two pairs of joggers for £60. Turns out that particular shop is closing down which was good for me. Now I have the things I need I'm going to start running tomorrow. I need some decent shoes for running. Luckily I already have a yoga mat but I seem to have lost the block that came with it and buying them is surprisingly expensive. Right now I'm a student so I can't spend too much. If I can't find a reasonable one in the sale on Saturday then I'll have to improvise. <BR> ...
