Went to work and didn't have any craving for food that I had not prepacked and prerecorded in SP. After work, I went to the gym. I have been getting in the habit of packing my gym bag and going to the gym on the way home so I don't make up excuses to not go... Tue, 6 Dec 2011 20:12:41 EST Stress Busting Challenge - Assessing Your Well Being http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4614127 I have signed up for the Stress Busting 4 week challenge. I needed to repeat week 1 because I did not journal daily. I have decided to journal on my blog. I am a Type A personality and always have goals and push myself to do MORE. I really need this challenge to learn to chill. 24

Responses are from the article - 4 ways to assess your assess your well being
http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/well
ness_articles.asp?id=1358

Monday, Dec 5, 2011 - ... Mon, 5 Dec 2011 23:09:40 EST Bad Week - Old Weakness http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4467759 I made a batch of Velveeta dip. Enough said? It was enough to ruin 3 days of too many calories. Along the path of loosing weight and becoming healthier, I have learned what foods I need to avoid having around the house. Mon, 5 Sep 2011 15:51:38 EST Harmless Treat http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4421589 I am on my final week of Spark's 28 day Ultimate Boot Camp. Now, I do not proclaim to be a nutritionist but I can now say that I eat a very balanced diet. I am proud of the changes in my eati... Thu, 11 Aug 2011 20:15:59 EST Make a 10 minute/day Promise http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4407710 Deja Vu..... The 10 minute/day promise to exercise paid big dividends again today!! I made a promise of only 10 minutes and it turned into 20 minutes of running. Maybe tomorrow I will do 30 minutes???

I signed up for the 1/2 marathon spark team because I have realized I need a goal to force exercise; otherwise, I get too casual about it.

So.... here I go.... I will start training again for a 1/2 marathon. Thu, 4 Aug 2011 21:18:35 EST Just Do It http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=4405759 Nike said it best...just do it. Forget the excuses and all the other things you should or could be doing. It is time to get your fanny up and get moving. How many times have we read ...just commit to 10 minutes of exercise and you are likely to keep going. It is so true but to get motivated for those lousy 10 minutes can be like climbing Mt Everest. I have high expectations each morning but hit snooze for nearly a hour (not a mistype!) and then I don't have time because I must get ready to... Wed, 3 Aug 2011 23:02:08 EST
