Mon, 14 Sep 2015 06:04:41 EST John Muir http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5993092 Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but Nature's sources never fail. ~John Muir

Tue, 8 Sep 2015 00:00:41 EST Lake Sabrina http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5987194 Two weeks ago my Hubby and Daughter drove 4 hours to lake Sabrina. Sun, 30 Aug 2015 04:37:01 EST Rest of July http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5980631 Let's start with a beautiful Sunrise, July 19th. I took Munchie for a walk. Every now and then I give him special time. Just the two of us. We went to a different field this day, with different trees, street lights etc. Boy, am I glad I picked this field.

<img src="http://photosaws.sp... First time I have seen them here. I am thrilled. They were checking out the Sunflowers. Then they would fly over to the fence and sit there for a few minutes. They knew I was there, but they were calm as can be. I only cropped one of the pictures, so you will have to view the pictures on my Flicker page.

www.flickr.com/photos/60439602@N08/2
0671287125/in/dateposted-public/

www.flickr.com/photos... Mon, 17 Aug 2015 23:09:06 EST Odds and ends http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5979323 Last month, early July, we were looking for old homes, and Dennis remembered this one house in Leona Valley. We have always liked this house.

While we were sitting in the car, a Cotton Tail hopped into view. So we went for a hike, and hiked up the hill to where the Trees were. I was amazed at the size of one of the Joshua Trees. I had Dennis stand by it, so you can get an idea of how big it is. They grow slower then a snail crawls, so this one is very old. The fire we had 4 yrs. ago missed this tree, thank goodness.

A Butt... Mon, 20 Jul 2015 15:32:15 EST A hike with Sarge http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5961540 Last month Sarge and I took a drive to Leona Valley around 6:30pm. I went to the famous Hawk tree. There were a few birds flying around, and singing There is a Mockingbird that watches me every time I am there. First it was on a telephone wire, then it flew over to a shrub.

<img src="... Boy, I'm losing it. One of last months assignments was "Roads". I remembered the long road we would take to the ranch where we used to board our horses in Leona Valley. On our way to Leona Valley we spotted 2 C-130's flying around. My Dad worked on this plane, so it is one of my favorites.

<... Tue, 14 Jul 2015 05:53:16 EST
