If I don't, my attitude towards myself changes, I feel sluggish, and I have less energy. Today, I am more consistent with my healthy actions and I feel better, look better, and my attitude towards myself and life is changing for the better. I'm consistently eating better, trying new healthy recipes, exercising, and enjoying the process as well... Mon, 14 Jan 2013 18:59:17 EST Bouncing back with less guilt--a plus http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5153020 I ate a bit too much today and I am bouncing back to nutrition/health with less guilt. (Really only lunch) I didn't let it "landslide" A glad thing in and of itself. <BR> Sat, 1 Dec 2012 21:41:16 EST Accountability http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5151558 Accountability to others helps me a lot through blogging what I'm going to do, telling someone in a telephone conversation an intention, speaking a goal to a friend or neighbor, etc. By simply saying "I'm going to the gym today," I'm going to eat better today, be nicer to myself, etc. somehow "bookends" my willingness to do all of this. Today, I am going to the gym, take some short walks, and track what I eat. and meditate 10 minutes. Thanks for reading and best wishes to all. By posting my health and fitness/food "to do" list earlier, it made me feel more accountable and supported to complete it. I did yoga and trampoline for 20 minutes plus calisthenics and crunches/stretches, ate a healthy dinner, and meditated for a very short while. Low stress is a must for me. Wed, 28 Nov 2012 19:25:14 EST Eating slowly http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5149744 Today I ate lunch very slowly (for me) and I was surprised at how good it felt (and tasted). I am committing to 20 minutes of gentle exercise since I went to the gym yesterday as well as talking to two friends about health and fitness and healthy choices today. This gives me an extra boost to stay with my fitness and food plans and makes me feel good about myself. Twice I wanted to bake something sweet and both times was able to let it go and instead say "yes" to healthier choices. When I... Wed, 28 Nov 2012 17:27:19 EST
