I got put on medications when I was 13 that made me gain 30lbs in a month. Even after stopping the medication, hiring a personal fitness trainer, and doing everything right, it still wouldn't come off. 3 summers ago I was working at a pretzel place in the mall and I added on another 30+ lbs in 3 months to reach my all time high of somewhere over 210 lbs (I stopped weighing because it was too depressing). I did ... Tue, 2 Oct 2012 23:36:24 EST Nutrition Tracker http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5072073 I have realized over the last week and a half that even though I track all of my food, I'm still over eating. While I will look at food and realize it is probably not the best for me, I'll still decide to eat it and WAY underestimate the calories and fat, then I feel extremely guilty and sick when I track. I think the only solution is to track before I eat and then weigh whether or not it's worth it. Sun, 23 Sep 2012 21:40:46 EST Feeling Healthy? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5068923 I have noticed that the gross junk food I always ate doesn't taste near as good now that I'm focusing more on relatively clean foods. My issues are still with cookies and the moderation of mostly good for you foods. That being said, I do notice an increased ability to walk or go up stairs without being winded. Fri, 21 Sep 2012 09:44:37 EST Coffee http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5054232 I have been a coffee addict for years now. I started working at Starbucks when I was 16 and within a few months, I began craving the stuff (the high cal and just plain coffee varieties). While I quit working there 3 years ago, I've never been able to kick the addiction, and quite frankly, I don't want to. There's just something about the diuretic effect that I love in the morning. I feel like I'm getting rid of all of the bad waste from yesterday (which in a way I am), and just starting over ... Tue, 11 Sep 2012 10:53:57 EST Time wasting http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5043708 My day generally starts out by hitting the snooze button a couple times mainly just because I don't want to get out of bed and because I love sleep. I would easily have a good 2 extra hours in my day if I got up right then. I'm going to try to go to bed earlier in hopes that I can get up the first time my alarm goes off. <BR> <BR> I'm definitely an internet time waster as well. Even if I just checked Facebook 5 minutes ago, I feel the need to go back and make sure no one has posted anything ... Tue, 4 Sep 2012 09:53:23 EST
