Trying to quit smoking again, too, which I gotta say is not helping. Was sooooo hungry yesterday and had the munchies all day. Was pretty good about resisting but it wasn't until last night that I realized that I wasn't really hungry after all but suffering from cigarette cravings. Eh, oh well. Had an extra Fiber One bar during the afternoon and then I think I had something last night but I don't remember what. Huh. <BR> <BR> Tired all the time now. Sleeping horribl... Wed, 8 Jun 2011 11:48:29 EST Having a hard time getting back on track http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2490891 So I'm not sick anymore and my back seems to be healed, but I'm having trouble getting back into the good habits. Trying to remember to go back to eating healthy and working out. Though I'm still a little scared to work out full throttle. I really don't want to hurt my back again. Mon, 19 Oct 2009 13:11:19 EST Figures http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2460996 So I got through one fantastic week of my workout routine. Was feeling really good and energized and excited. Then I managed to seriously inflame my sacro-illiac joints and get swine flu. So I've been flat on my back for the last week and a half. I'm "better" now but still restricted to no lifting and only 20 minutes of cycling 2-3 times per week. I'm so frustrated :( Wed, 7 Oct 2009 18:12:53 EST Harumph http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2425791 So I knew better that to listen to my sister when she gushed about how much weight I was going to lose in the very first week. I've been busting my ass for almost a week now and I've *maybe lost 2 lbs. I knew better than to get my hopes up, but it happened anyway. I'm sore as hell and I've probably sweated gallons, I'm eating fine, though I'm having trouble getting enough calories and carbs in. I keep barely making the low end of the range for those. More fruits and veggies I guess. But it's ... Thu, 24 Sep 2009 12:23:15 EST Sister dearest http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2420386 I'm trying really hard to be supportive, but my sister just sent pics of her little red bikini that she just bought. It's just... She's got the great-paying job, the supportive husband (not that mine isn't, but hers will actually eat healthy with her), the big house, the new car, and now the killer body. And I know that she worked hard for it and if I lived where she lived and had no kids I would also be making a lot more money and be able to afford the nice house, etc... It's just really har... Tue, 22 Sep 2009 14:53:04 EST So sore http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2417122 Last year my sister started talking about this great new workout program that she was doing in order to get back into the kind of shape she was in when she was still a competitive gymnast with UA Anchorage. I didn't really pay that much attention until she started sending pictures. She went from flabby size 18 to pretty toned size 10, and she's not done yet. All of this was in like 4-5 months. I was impressed. <BR> <BR> She's since sent me the entire program and I've been trying out the food... Mon, 21 Sep 2009 13:24:05 EST New Beginnings http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=2407419 So we'll see if this works. I've done the weight loss / getting healthy thing in the past. I had lost over 40 lbs, was working out almost daily, was in pretty good shape. Then my life changed and I let that all slide. I kept telling myself that I was waiting for my husband to be ready to change with me, or I was waiting for him to adapt, or it was too difficult to do it on my own. But all of that meant I gained not only the 40 lbs back, but an extra 10. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been in m... Thu, 17 Sep 2009 13:03:37 EST
