Wed, 30 May 2012 12:10:39 EST 21 day challenge- day 12 Today was my treat day and overall I did great! I didn't eat nearly as much as I used to do on my treat days. I had to make up for the 2 weeks that I couldn't work out so i couldn't afford to overdo it today. Sat, 26 May 2012 21:45:38 EST 21 Day Challenge- Day 11 Today was a good day. The hubby and I went out for German and I didn't overdo it. We split a dessert even though I know my challenge forbids it. <em>35</em> Overall, I have stayed away from pastries and all buffets. The doctor gave me the thumbs up to return back to exercising and i couldn't get there fast enough. LOL! Doc said no strenuous activity so I just did the treadmill for 30 mins. Still felt good and i look forward to walking or the elliptical tomorrow. Saturdays are my treat days and i tried to rationalize with myself by saying I should be able to have sweets since it's my treat day. <em>473</em> I was two steps from grabbing a churro when I told myself no. This 21 day challenge includes saturdays too and that doesn't change because it's my treat day. I'm not sure what it is but buffets are NOT my friend. I go in with the plan to just eat a little but somehow I end up stuffed and disgusted! So today is day one of no buffets for me. Even if there is an office event there, i will order off the menu. I decided to eliminate sweets for 21 days because my doctor told me to chill on the exercise for a few weeks so what I eat is going to be crucial to how much I lose in the next 3 ... I have been in the gym hot and heavy for months and I contribute most of my weight loss to the time I commit to the gym. <em>85</em> Now my doctor has told me to take it easy for a few weeks and I'm not able to work out. <em>46</em> So any weight loss I have for the next 2 weeks will be strictly from food intake. I'm not sure I can do this since I depend so much on exercise but I will do my best. <em>40</em> Mon, 14 May 2012 20:07:09 EST Possible Plateau Ok, I didn't work out for 2 weeks straight and I managed to lose 1.5 lbs each week. Well I started back working out this week and I was expecting a little more weight to fall off but it seems to be stuck. So far I have lost .5 lbs. UGH! I know the week is not over but what's really going on. I can lose .5 with NO exercise so I'm expecting more with exercise. The ones we saw were pricey so we didn't get them. Well today my hubby found some at Walmart that were only $9. I have taken a scale break for 2 weeks and I am less stressed because of it. I really hope to see some type of movement on it this time. Preferably, under 220.
