Sun, 17 Dec 2006 10:00:38 EST Seeing the wonder in the smallest details This was a very timely article. I've been losing sight of the forest for the trees, as the old saying goes. I've been too wrapped up in those things that I convinced myself, really mattered, and began to lose sight of the beauty around me. Life is too short to sit around wondering what I need to do for work next Monday vs. when/where will we take t... Sat, 16 Dec 2006 09:55:59 EST What leaps of faith are you willing to take? That entire time is filled with choices. It is up to us to decide if that choice we have made is good or bad, simply by whether we can live with the consequences of that choice. Deciding if the door is an opportunity or not is the same process. It's a matter of whether we choose to take advantage of it or not and can we live with that choice. Never be afraid to look over t... Thu, 3 Aug 2006 05:38:24 EST The importance of not being too grown up Children are so convinced of their ways and implicitly trust in their own instincts. Clearly if it tastes good, it must be good for you! Delight in the experiences of your youth today. Reflect upon the simple pleasures of carefree living. What can you do to indulge yourself in a healthy way? Put down the bills and laundry and have a tea party or puppet show. Take a spin on the swing set or jump on the bed. Mon, 19 Jun 2006 05:43:39 EST Reflections Sometimes we learn more from those things we fail at than those things we are successful at. Like the Phoenix, we can rise from the ashes of what may initially feel like bitter defeat! Thu, 8 Jun 2006 06:31:24 EST Frustration! Arrghhh... Up to 205.5. Seem to have been eating more than I was at the start of the program. Seem to be more empty than hungry after eating dinner. I think it's more a case of wanting to eat more than one of needing to eat more. I was shedding nearly a pound every couple of days. Now I'm reversing. I need to be more consistent throughout the day. Will try to eat more normally throughout the day in smaller increments to see if that helps. I also noticed I started gaining after hitting a wall ...
