I planted vegetable seeds about a week ago I recently placed some of them outside on the pation table. My husband is int he process of building a box for me to plant the plants. I am not sure what I am going to do about the tomatoes. I think I will have to get some type of lattice for them to grow "up" on. I am looking forward to harvesting my first crop. Tue, 20 Mar 2012 23:46:49 EST Spring Cleaning Instead of my regular cardio, I decided to do a "little" spring cleaning. House cleaning should count for something. Anyway, I got some of my windows cleaned, did a little painting in my home office, mop the floor in two other rooms. One thing I am grateful for is I am disciplined in my eating. I have gotten to the point that I have the right kind of snacks in my house and I am tracking everything that I eat. Today I was able to walk with a fitness expert. He helped me to understand how to breathe if I am jogging. On my busy mornings I have the cereal for lunch. On my not so busy mornings I will have it for breakfast. On mornings when I am not eating the cereal I have 4 ozens of Activia vanilla yogurt with some type of berries. I have also added berries to my cereal. It really felt good. I was able to walk yesterday, but today it was just to cold. I guess I will have to get on the boring treadmill. I also think I will practice some yoga until the weather warms up. I do not eat red meat or poultry. This is a choice (nothing to do with religion or animal rights). I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits but they do not provide enough proteins. I do eat nuts.
