Having a new job which allows me to walk at least four kilometers a day I thought would help me reaching my goal. I neglected the negative influence of all the nice treats my coleagues and my new job brought with. From now on I'll be more selective of my indulgences at work. Yesterday I went for the third time to the appointment with the doctor for a research they make in this country to compare the aging of HIV patients against HIV negative people. As member of the control group (HIV negative) they make a series of tests to determine what they call apparent age. When I started the research I was 49 and my apparent age was 46, two years ago when I was 51 my apparent age was 42. And now when I am 53 my apparent age is 41!!! I am so happy of hearing all this. The bus ride took the whole night. Plus point was the bus took us almost from door to door. We were allowed to check in at seven in the morning... very kind of them. Weekend in Paris after a very intense week. Today seemed the longest day in my life. Luckily this is gone. In Paris I will visit the Buddhist Temple I am going to become member of. That included a walk to the canal along the river and around the lake with my nephew and his wife who are visiting me for few days. I met my friend Carlos in town for coffee. He invited me tto go to the movies. Afterwards I invited him for a bite in a Turkish bakery. Therefor I needed to clean up. It was a very intense day and I managed to clean everything. Later I went with one of the couples for a tour in the city. It was great. Today it was the Balance Day at my gym. Lots of special activities. I went there with a group of friends and I followed two classes, Yin Yoga and Meditation. It was amazing. Afterwards we all gathered in the sauna and had lots of fun together making jokes and having lunch. When I came back home I decided to do deep cleaning and I walked around the lake again. Just before midnight I decided to go again for a walk. I walked one more hour. Now getting ready for bed. Tomorrow is the big day here ... Sun, 26 Apr 2015 20:31:37 EST Twice around the lake today... Power yoga, swimming, walking, house cleaning and moving boxes, all added up to 275 minutes and feeling full of energy. Tomorrow a day at home finishing all the house cleaning and administration. I was not counting on that dinner. My friend offered to drive me back home. Instead I decided to go back walking. It took me two hours... From the time I left home to when I was back in Amsterdam I managed to have seven different outdoor sessions, two cycling and five walking for a total of 1300 minutes. A friend of mine called me to say e was sick and had to cancel picking me up to go to the gym together. I decided to go visit him on the bike... The trampoline class yesterday and the yin yoga class today where amazing. Commuting on the bike adds up lots of minutes. I also walked a lot these two days. Added tis to my yoga classes and some extra bikin and walkin as well as swimming I managed to make 210 minutes of work out. I was hungrier than ussually so I went above my diatery goals.
