Yesterday was my last. I did so well through January, then was exceedingly gluttonous for over two weeks celebrating every milestone, with food. I was excited, but I paid a price for it. I was going to weigh-in this morning, but decided not to 'face the music'... For the past couple of days I've noticed that everything is fitting tight on me so I know I gained... I am back on track COMPLETELY starting today and vow to not fall off until the end of the year! Undoubtedly!! <BR> <BR> I decided to put some "prizes" into my 'plan' to help get me through. I was offered a full time job in the town that I live in, and for the first time since June of 2000 I don't have to upend my life to work (as a biologist) in the commercial fisheries in Alaska! My life no longer revolves around constant travel!! I will be working 5 days a week, normal hours, can walk to/from work, and can get on (& stay on!)... I can have it, but I don't want it. <BR> <BR> I almost gave in to ordering pizza tonight for dinner, but the truth of the matter that I DO NOT WANT IT. I've been doing really well, but have caved a couple of times since Jan. 1st. I'm considering the past two weeks my trial period to get mostly on track. Tue, 14 Jan 2014 22:52:34 EST Clean slate... I reset my goals and deleted out all of my old blogs this morning and feel cleansed having a clean slate to start 2014 off with. I did not reach my goals in 2013, but that's okay. The past is the past. Lessons were learned. Some good did come out of the year, just not in the form of weight loss and that's okay. This almost never happens, in fact 19 years ago was the last time we had a New Moon on a New Year.
