I promised myself, when the course became challenging ,I wasn't going to allow any negative thoughts enter my mind. I was positive during the entire 6.2 miles. A few times I became frustrated, and had enough of the incline, but keep pushing forward. By the time, I reached the third mile I experienced onset dizziness. This continued to the end. Wed, 8 Nov 2017 22:31:00 EST 100 Day Challenge Results I'm kind of embarrassed to end post my final results of this challenge. Instead of losing weight I actually gained. I was 280 and now 278. Even thou I exercised I was not on point with he nutrition. I own up to my failed challenge, but it will not be my last. I'm now training for my race in June. I did a lot of stress eating during the first 30 days and the scale has been showing it. I take full ownership of that. You can't exercise your way out of bad eating choices. Still making adjustments to be more successful during the next 70 days of my challenge. Instead of losing 8 - 10 pounds, I gained 3 pounds. My husband goddaughter was the one who initiated, so after hearing about it I gave her a call and inquired. They were going to do the BLC for 4 weeks. I came upon a milestone on my birthday, and I needed a good challenge. I had purchased a new fitness monitor (Garmin) and needed to test it out. I was hooked the first time I attended a class at the gym. l was uncoordinated and all, but was having fun. The amount of energy in the class was amazing. She has taken control of her health and as of this morning she has lost 26 pounds. I would sit and chat with her about healthy eating and the importance of exercise, but I didn't want to over do it, because I know that you don't want to feel like a broken record. I noticed that the size that I also wear was gone. I gasp in shock and nervously went for the next size. I shook the pants open and start putting my leg in. Keep on losing! ... Thu, 31 Jul 2014 10:37:25 EST One Month Boot Camp Today Boot Camp started at 7 this morning. When Danny said we only had to do 3 laps, instead of 6 I knew something was up. Yeah, after running 3 laps we had to go back in the gym and pick the weight size of our choice and head back outside. He then proceed to give us directions. For starts we had to do 30 fast high knees, followed by weighted walking lunges, and after that we had to do 3 sprints. I was really worried about my A1c results, because I had fell back into some old eating habits from time to time. Well, my A1c is 5.3. My cholesterol was higher than I'm use to and that is 164. Well, I wanted to set another for my birthday month, and that was to do 400 miles in 30 days. Well, for starters I was 41.71 miles short of my goal. There, were a few days that was challenging, and I needed sleep more. In the meantime, these are the things that I did achieve during my challenge in 30 days. I did 326,100 steps, 3,691 fitness minutes, and completed 358.29 miles. Well, not bad an... You see about 2 weeks ago when I got on the scale it showed 254 lbs. Once again I had veered off the straight path. I had made some changes and today the scale reflect it. I must say that I was in disbelief that I was out of the 250's. I don't want to celebrate to soon, because when I do it seems to end up with a gain. But, in the mean time I will take the 249.
