Working Outside

We are packed and ready for our trip, but I have to work today . I am going to work outside and get my properties looking "pretty" so they will be fine for the 8 days we are gone. It is going to be in the low 70's today, so I am looking forward to burning some extra calories while enjoying the sun rays!! Double benefit for sure! Hugs to all! 247

Excited for our visit

I am so excited to go be with my daughter and her fiancé ! The visit will be a busy one since we are assisting them in their move to California (from AZ). It is going to be so wonderful to be with them, We are going to enjoy an 8 day visit, which I am sure will go really fast, as we will be so busy and of course, when you are enjoying your self it seems like the times always speed by. Today looks to be a busy day for me. I have a unit to get painted as well as some paperwork to complete in the office. Planning a Trip

My youngest daughter is moving from Phoenix to the Sacramento area. We are flying (from Seattle) to help them is this relocation. I am so excited to see them both and so very happy that we can help!! We are going to be with them for 8 days so I will probably miss a few entries here. I am looking forward to all those calories I will burn on hauling and packing those boxes.... so excited to be with my daughter! I can hardly wait. Hugs to all!!! 247

Crazy weather Day

He is going to be weighed today, so I am excited to see if he has dropped any more weight. He is only 2 lbs from his goal of 8 lbs, so I'd love to see him under 10!! Hump Day is here and I am hoping it is better than Tuesday turned out to be. Tuesday was a stressful day (work related). I was happy to get out there and get our walk in to help reduce the effects of all that anxiety the day brought. I am such a firm believer in exercise! It keeps my sanity on rough days as well as burns those calories. I can't imagine life without it, crazy for a former couch potato : ) . Hugs to all!! 247

We had so much fun at the Destruction Derby today. For those who haven't heard of a DD , it is a automobile race where the drivers drive an older beat-up car or truck and there are several hours of various heats. There are figure 8's and regular races as well as the last car standing where the idea is to hit each other's vehicle till they literally can't move anymore. It is a fun day for all!! Now, It is after midnight and I am tired and ready for bed. Pleasant Dreams to all!! 247

Destruction Derby

We are enjoying our after dinner walks with Sam (our poodle). We are out about an hour each afternoon, enjoying the sun and the very pretty flowers that are in bloom! We change our route each time so we get the variety as well. The warmer weather and sun are sure making our exercise time that much more delightful! Hugs to all! 247

The weather changed today. It has been so pretty all week, so a cooler and cloudy day isn't all that bad. We still managed to get in a nice walk with Sam (poodle). We enjoyed another great walk with Sam (poodle) today. He is doing so wonderful , I am very proud of this little dog!! His thyroid seems to be better and he was so peppy throughout the whole mile walk. My husband rode his mobility scooter and Sam and I got our steps in. Very , very nice day for a walk, just loved it! 338

We were blessed with yet another gorgeous day today! I was able to get some extra walking in there and when we took Sam (our poodle) in to be weighed, we found he had lost another pound from his extra steps he is getting too. I hope to have him at his goal of 7 lbs by mid Summer. Hugs to all!

I have a friend that I have known since High School (over 40 years) and she lives in Idaho. She came over for a few days of visiting and we had a wonderful time. We went shopping and found some fantastic sales at the Mall. We always have so much to talk about and catch up on, it is just so sad when it is time for her to head home. It just seems to go so fast!!I am blessed to have such a fabulous friendship that has lasted over 4 decades. Hugs to all! 247

It seems years back I could eat pretty much (within caloric range) and be fine. Well.. not anymore. I have discovered the sodium "hold". Oh yeah, let me tell you, one day of higher amounts of sodium and I can weigh as much as 3 lbs more the following morning. Mind you, it does come back off, but not for a few days (if I am lucky). I am now having to watch those labels even closer, and it is rediculous the amounts of sodium in most foods! We went to wendys for dinner tonight, and the salads w...
