Oh, that wonderful, buttery, nutty, top of the calorie list holiday pie. Who doesn't love it? I tried making it sugar-free, but it just has the wrong texture. Same with the purchased sugar-free pies. Even mini individual pies are around 400 calories each. There has to be some way!

I started thinking about pumpkin pie and how the crust is where all the calories are. Tue, 16 Sep 2014 12:09:03 EST I apologize I have been so busy lately that I have had to prioritize and one of the things put on the back burner has been blogging. Mon, 1 Sep 2014 23:00:36 EST Oktoberfest in August Last year the Oktoberfest celebration that I worked for my Prostate cancer awareness program was LITERALLY blown away (as in everybody's tents were blown into the creek), so they moved the date up to this weekend.

I decided to go with the theme "Tackle Prostate Cancer" this year and am very pleased with how it turned out. I threw those shoes out immediately and rotated my other ones so that I didn't have the same pressure points from one day to the next. I still continued compounding the blister, though, I got blisters under my blisters, until by Friday evening when I had walked 28,000 steps (or almost 14 miles), I had this.

<img src=" Sun, 3 Aug 2014 22:28:01 EST Men!
