Thu, 23 May 2013 10:51:39 EST Popcorn alone, doesn't make a very good lunch! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5303422 Nope, Popcorn just sounded good, simply put. So I popped a bag and put some splenda on top and ooh that was oh so good. But that didn't hold my hunger very long, so I decided to have a small avocado. :) Thu, 28 Mar 2013 15:45:07 EST Sunday silliness http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5298086 Today is going to be great!

Breakast: I had 1 fried egg, 2 breakfast sausages and 1 slice of italian bread with 1 tsp of margarine. Fri, 22 Mar 2013 15:37:23 EST Ahhhh chocolate intervention!!!! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5295367 Okay, it's not really an intervention. I've been doing so good this week, and my husband had a terrible day so I wanted to make him chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for him. I didn't eat any of the cookie dough (wow, that took a lot of will power) and then after the cookies had cooled a little I had 1 and then another for a total of 2 cookies, but that was it. About 30 minutes later I had the chocolate cravings again, but rather than continuing to binge on cookies, I decide to have a chocola... Thu, 21 Mar 2013 18:51:47 EST Update time http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5294045 I have past the home stretch for the 21 days to make or break a habit, this is my 4th week of working out regularly! On Monday I had 8 servings of fruits and veggies and today I have packed/had 6! I am drinking a ton more water and feel way more energized. I'm challenging my workouts and I am so ready for a brand new DDR cd for new songs (as soon as I hit my first mini goal I will get this)

Foods for today
Breakfast: had about 1 serving of Cinnamon Jacks cereal with 1 svg b... Wed, 20 Mar 2013 18:23:09 EST What a wonderful "Friday" http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5286761 I'm calling today my Friday because I don't have to work tomorrow :)

So I started taking green bean capsules and raspberry ketone capsules. I am mainly taking this for energy. Another benefit is the appetite suppressant. It's really working and I was super skeptical. I have had more energy now and I feel just great. And quite ironically I am drinking a ton more water.

The meatballs were also super delicious that I made earlier this week!

I hope everyone... Thu, 14 Mar 2013 16:20:28 EST Another 300 calorie burned day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5284240 I've been keeping up with the Dance Dance Revolution routine!

This morning I burned over 300 calories on it. Yesterday was just shy of 200 calories.

I also made home some homemade comfort meatballs from the Pioneer Woman with Pasta for dinner before work. It's mainly for my husband, but also for me too :) Tue, 12 Mar 2013 17:49:46 EST I burned 305 calories today http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5264869 I pulled out my Dance Dance Revolution Dance Pad yesterday. I burned 100 calories yesterday and today I burned a little over 300 calories. I feel great and I had a ton of fun doing it. Since I am working 52 hours this week, I am primarily going to be focusing on exercising so i can at least get some energy. I think that if I tried working on my healthy eating and the exercise, I would just get too frustrated and tired and not do either. Goal today is to drink more water at work. Tue, 26 Feb 2013 15:01:02 EST Took a quiz, I have a love-hate relationship with my body http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5259980 It's true. I know some things and others not very good. :)

I'm a little tired right now, I only got 5 hours of sleep because I am helping out a co-worker with part of her shift. I get off at 3 today and I get 1 day off and I'm on for like 4 or 5 in a row again. A little exhausted.

My hubby and I are going to go shopping for some fresh fruits and veggies tomorrow so that will help me stay on track this week.

I think I can, I think I can.....
41</... My original goal of getting my weight down to 200 by my birthday is already out the door and I am okay with this. But I'm not about to give up.

Slow and steady. I made some of the Betty Crocker bagged cookie mix today. It was oatmeal chocolate chip. And normally when I bake cookies I wi... Wed, 20 Feb 2013 14:15:53 EST Mio Energy and Zumba = happiness for real http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5237395 Well kind of. I've spent the past 7 months seeking my zumba soundtrack and I can't seem to locate it. I knew I needed to exercise but I just didn't really want to. So since I couldn't find my zumba cd I found my cardio workout cd and used this instead and I ended doing different zumba moves for almost 20 minutes, which was pretty good for not wanting to exercise. Upon finishing I got a glass of water with some berry mio energy and wow it's good. I can tell it's more than the regular flav... Mon, 4 Feb 2013 15:17:47 EST Update, booyah! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5229522 So my eating habits really haven't changed for the better yet (Rome wasn't built in a day)
but my exercise habits are gradually changing.

On Friday I walked through the property for about 23 minutes.

And this morning I did a whole 50 minute dance DVD (10 minute solutions combined) and I felt great today, had a ton of energy!

And I know I am going to sleep great tonight! Tue, 29 Jan 2013 23:15:05 EST I've worked out 2 mornings.... and in a row! http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5220646 It's true. My husband's been having to work pretty early the past few days so I have set my alarm for when he wakes up (in addition to his alarm because he will sleep through it) and then I go back to bed for a few more hours. So the past 2 days I've gotten up, had my morning coffee and breakfast and put actual work out clothes on to help motivate me to move it! I've only done 10 minute dance workouts each day but hey it has helped me tremendously with my energy and oh am I sore :) Wed, 23 Jan 2013 19:55:25 EST Tasty Tuesday http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5197018 Well my plan didn't work out all that well yesterday. I was fun up until dinner and then my hand just kept shoveling junk food. But I am not getting upset or anything like that.

Here's my plan for today:
Breakfast: I had 2 cooked eggs and 1 slice of super grainy toast with a smidgeon of margarine (and yes I did have 2 PB cookies, my throat was really hurting and it scratched it so it felt better)
Lunch: I brought a bowl of cereal I will have with milk
Dinner: same... Mon, 7 Jan 2013 15:20:25 EST Not good, lost 10 pounds in 1 night http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5180899 So I got REALLY SICK and lost a ton of weight from Friday into Saturday. I had nothing left in my system. My body is still a little weak, but I am feeling much better. I've got my pedialyte for today though. Sun, 30 Dec 2012 13:06:46 EST Baby Steps (again) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5177828 Thanks for all the kind words! I know quitting will get me nowhere. I am really trying to figure out the whole will power thing. There is a ton of junk food at work for the holidays, and I kept catching myself go into the break room and eating. It could be a variety of reasons why, but that would just be making excuses.

Here are my plans for today:
ONLY EAT WHAT I BRING TO WORK AND THAT'S THAT, NO IFS ANDS OR BUTTS!

I had a bowl of chocolatey delight cereal with... Needless to say my eating habits have kind of pooped out on them. All I can say is ahhhhhhh! So exhausted and ready for my bed that is so desparately calling my name. But I can't hit the hay for another 2 hours and I have to make it through the ride home in a nice, warm, quiet lulling car. :)

Oh and I killed a meadowlark today on my way to work with my car on accident. And everything you try to do to reconcile anything just seems to make it worse.

Ho hum, I really just wish I was at home right now and not at work, I just need some time alone and with my husband. I'm sure I have mentioned before that our driveway has washed away a few times. My husband and I have been digging a trench on the side of the driveway to help drain the water. Keep in mind our driveway is 1/3 mile long. I completed 1 side of the driveway finally! And I started on the other side. I used the hoe for about 2 hours and I am exhausted!

I also decided to start pilates as well to mix it up a little with my workour program. I have a feeling I'm going to ... When we sat down for breakfast this morning, my husband said he was down to 180 lbs and he was 195 when we first bought our house 2 months ago. He has worked incredibly hard to get where he is and all of his tight clothes are becoming looser. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him, but sometimes I feel like I just can't compete with his weight loss because he has a lot more time to workout compared to my schedule. I ran to weigh myself today and it's just 1 lb pound higher t... Well let me just tell you my run-ins with the devil of a scale! EVERYTIME, no matter the circumstances, when I would weigh myself and not a budge down (not even 0.1 as insignificant this is) I would quit and literally go back to my nasty habits and gain just as much weight that I had lost and then some.

The reason I am telling you all this is because this morning I weighed myself. I will admit I probably had more than 1 serving, but it's okay. I served it with almond milk (yum) and some of my regular coffee. Then off to work I went :)

I had a banana probably around 10:30 ( I know this is 5 hours from my breakfast but I wasn't hungry).

I brought some cheddar cheese/broccoli soup and some carrots and celery for lunch. Although the soup will probably fill me up entirely an... Sat, 29 Sep 2012 12:55:31 EST Update for everyone :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5078591 Today I wasn't able to eat my breakfast because I had to some fasting labs for my employee wellness program. This was fine because I just grabbed a oatmeal bar for afterwards.

I ate extremely well yesterday and I am doing pretty darn good today actually. I am feeling better, more energized and actually really just motivated and excited for my next weigh-in :)

I am trying a little more to portion out some healthy snacks before I go to work and not just assume something ... Fri, 28 Sep 2012 15:26:37 EST Radiating positivity http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5075749 Good morning to all. Here is a recap of foods so far:

Breakfast: regular coffee with 2 fried eggs and a slice of toast with some margarine on it, and a handful of scarlet grapes
***very good and filling breakfast****

Then my husband said it was time to workout so we lifted weights and did our core moves and he then said it was time to go walking and it was raining (sprinkling really but it did rain earlier) and I didn't want to and I began complaining. He said tha... Wed, 26 Sep 2012 12:20:45 EST I am crying tears of food http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5073409 I reread my last blog entry and I am so disappointed in myself. 3 days in a row I did great. Then this weekend happened. It wasn't "overly terrible" just not what I had been doing for the 3 previous days. Mon, 24 Sep 2012 19:24:33 EST Everybody, here's my update! :) http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5069365 So I made my goal this week of working on my uncontrollable snacking. More like I used to just shovel food in my mouth for no reason!

On Wednesday: I had 3 eggs for breakfast, then I told myself I didn't need a snack except for water until lunch time and you know what, I wasn't hungry, I had a special K strawberry shake with 1 string cheese, and then I had some more water until dinner. Then I had (well I don't remember, but it was healthy)

On Thursday: the same exact ... Fri, 21 Sep 2012 15:14:40 EST How did week 1 go? http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=5060424 Pretty much as I expected it to. I planned the meals I could, check, but my snacking is a bit out of control. At least I can recognize this and now I can work on the change.

This is what I brought to work (so hopefully this will force myself not to go into our department kitchen and muncharoony):
Breakfast: had pumpkin spice waffles (eggo) and a dap of butter and a little bit of syrup, coffee
I brought: granola bar with 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein
Lunch...
