So I saw myself in a picture the other day when I was a freshman in college, and I was like" wow you looked hot!" Ha ha. If I only had the confidence I have now, then, and the body I had then, now. Sun, 19 Jan 2014 11:20:48 EST Good Sunday Morning Sparkfriends This week was a good one not great one. I started out so strong, tracking everything I ate and getting in some workouts. Then work got crazy hectic, the school sent me to 2 conferences this week. I also needed to schedule 4 parent / teacher meetings and update 2 academic forms. Anyway, the days slipped by me without tracking as carefully as I should be. Sat, 27 Jul 2013 12:30:53 EST Doctors Appointment (Fingers Crossed) 3 months ago I was rushed to the ER with extreme pains in my stomach, after 7 hours, blood work , cat scan and ultra sound.... They eliminated many things and were left with the conclusion that the pains resulted in my ovaries and needed to see a specialist. Wonderful, 10 days before my wedding I was scrambling to make an appointment with my OBGYN, thank goodness she fit me in. We went over all the results and I was diagnosed with PCOS and my cervical lining was wearing away with every menstr... Thu, 11 Jul 2013 13:15:13 EST If I jog for a longer time I will get home faster "I don't want to go, I don't want to go". These words must have came out of my mouth at least 100 times this morning. And to make it worse, no one was in the house to hear me complain. Where I didn't want to go was on a walk/ jog, as part of my training for a 5K. ( In my last post I talked about 2 different apps I am using to train for a 5K). Anyways, after a supportive phone call from the hubby ( Thanks baby!) I put on my sneakers and set off. I have a planned route that I take , 2.1 miles ... Wed, 10 Jul 2013 17:09:01 EST My goals for the month of July With 3 weeks left of this month, I am going to set some goals for myself. One is 5K Runner the other 5K Training , I am trying both out at the same time to see which I like better. They have voice commands to tell you to warm up, walk, jog, run and cool down. They both want you to run only 3 days a week and promote stretching. Both allow you to listen to your music and track time and miles.

Hope this helps and ill let you know in 2 weeks which one I like better.....

Mon, 8 Jul 2013 15:12:42 EST A welcome home worth writing about! Two days after I got married in April I packed up all my belongings and moved to my husbands home in Virginia. I left all my friends and family and went in this crazy journey called marriage. It's been quite an adjustment to say the least, and I have been homesick like I never thought possible. I am a teacher and have summers off and am blessed that my husband's job allows me not to work in the summer. So I packed my bags and came to spend a few weeks in MA and cape cod, unfortunately my husb... Tue, 25 Jun 2013 12:38:59 EST Triumph at the Amusement Park Last year my fiancé and I went to a near by theme park. I have always loved rides and was excited that he shared the same passion for them as I did. What started out as a great day, turned into a nightmare of embarrassment. I could not fit on the rides! There were even "larger space" seats on some rides and I had to squeeze into them. I was horrified, embarrassed and became very depressed, turning this day of planned fun into a cry-fest and leaving early. Well from that day in late August I d... Sun, 3 Feb 2013 13:04:42 EST One more pound and I can start wearing these!

I told myself that when I lost 40 pounds I would buy a pair of running shoes. This weekend I happened to be shopping at the outlets in NH and couldn't pass up this great deal on sneakers. So when I weighed myself this morning, I was thrilled with a two pound loss but kind of disappointed because I didn't hit the 40 mark. So my goal this week is to lose at least one pound....more are always welcomed, but just one wi... Sun, 27 Jan 2013 22:46:32 EST Dancing in the dressing room !! The other day I blogged about how disappointed I was that I only lost 2 pounds last week. It brought the total weight loss to 37 pounds by still I was disappointed. Well today I needed a pick me up, so I did what I love to do SHOP! I wasn't going to by anything, just browse around for a little. I went into Lane Bryant, and started picking outfits a to try on. And to my surprise, I had to go back to the rack to get the smaller size! I might not have lost more than two pounds last week, but I ... Tue, 15 Jan 2013 17:42:06 EST Disappointment creates Drive So this week I worked my butt off. I tracked everything that I put into my mouth, stayed within my calorie range, went over my fitness minutes and calories to burn by almost 1,000 and was excited to step on the scale this morning. Well didn't that number on the digital scale in my bathroom hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. 2 pounds down? Wait this cant be right, lets try this again. WHAT??? Still the same can this be only 2 pounds!

Needless to say I wanted to f... Sun, 13 Jan 2013 20:38:50 EST Because I want to be.... Last night as I was lying in bed, my mind began to race. Sat, 12 Jan 2013 13:36:08 EST Not letting a hiccup turn into an avalanche Today was a hard day.. Woke up feeling yucky and hit snooze a couple of times, making me late, causing me to be very grumpy while at work. Then I remember my spark coach' s message the other day. "Don't let a little bump ruin the entire day", and when I got home from work , I dragged myself to the living room turned the DVD player on and put in my new Zumba Toning disk in and hit play. What I got from it was a total mood change ! I was sweating my behind off, dancing , smiling and got a rebir... Wed, 9 Jan 2013 15:58:56 EST
