Then this weekend I noticed my other bunny losing his balance and falling over on his side. I am going to treat them both with medication and see whether that helps. I came home at lunch at he had laid in his urine and poo was matted in his fur. I can't let this happen to him in good conscience so I took the afternoon off to look after him. I looked and it was a huge mess of maggots and eggs. This condition is known as Fly Strike and it can be fatal to bunnies. Yesterday's walk was super brisk and I didn't have any trouble keeping up the pace. 51 minutes to go 3 miles which is about 17 minutes per mile. My idiot boyfriend thinks I should be able to walk a mile in 10 minutes. His reasoning is that the world record for running a mile is 4 minutes. I hate how he says stupid crap like that and undermines my efforts. I'm pretty sure I am going to spit in his drink. I mowed the lawn yesterday and I had to stop in the middle of it and come inside. Waaaay to dang hot for my cold blooded nature.
