(maybe not during the run, but definately after!) It's a big sense of accomplishment when you make it to the next mark you set for yourself. I know that it will take time to build endurance, but I am excited for the journey. Mon, 17 May 2010 22:34:53 EST Happiness is... Having the courage to stand up for yourself and say, "I will no longer let food control my life! I am in control of my actions. Every action I take has a consequence. " I am so much happier now. I've only lost a few pounds, but I am in control and loving every minute of it!

104 Thu, 13 May 2010 14:31:03 EST Motivation I am feeling better every day. I exercise nearly everyday, I have not had soda in over 2 weeks, and I eat right everyday. All it takes is a little time out of each day for yourself. I used to say I didn't have time to exercise, but I just cut out some TV time and that is now my exercise time. Staying accountable is empowering. I look forward to the day when I can run a 5k without stopping.
306 Tue, 11 May 2010 09:10:53 EST I'm a Runner! (almost) I am very excited, for today I began my journey to becoming a runner! I ran 2 minutes, walked 3 minutes and so on for a total of 30 minutes. Mon, 3 May 2010 14:29:35 EST Starting Again I got off track, but after going to a friends party this weekend and seeing the pictures, it really struck me that I am not happy where I am right now. Only I can change things and that is what I am going to do. I am eating right, I did my workout yesterday and I woke up feeling good today. I have to remember that no matter what, I am in control of my actions, no one else is. I hope I can lose 50 pounds by December. Tue, 27 Apr 2010 09:22:37 EST Magical Monday Feeling great today! Here's to hoping everyone has a great week! Mon, 11 Jan 2010 15:17:27 EST New Year, New Start Well, the holidays are over and now it is time to buckle down. I have all of these clothes in my closet that I refuse to get rid of. I will be able to fit in them by this summer, that is my goal. I do not want to waste money on new clothes, so I will hunker down now and get it done. Here's to a successful year! Next year will be my 20 year reunion and it would be nice to have this weight off so I can show off! Wed, 6 Jan 2010 11:25:18 EST Set Backs We have things in our lives that inevitably can cause us to have a set back. Mine just happened to be going on vacation to my moms. I had a great time, but let the diet restrictions go and now I am right back where I started from. The one thing about set backs, is that you can always turn them around. Tomorrow, the first change will be that I am setting my alarm clark for 5:15 am, so that I can do my cardio workout before going to work. I have found that with the time change it is harder... Wed, 11 Nov 2009 15:02:55 EST I'm Feeling Good...... Today is a great day....I started off yesterday good and ended it well. No sodas! What an accomplishment. I just had a fabulous lunch, grilled chicken breast with a salad. It was so yummy! My friend brought in some Cauliflower Cous Cous, which I had found the recipe on line on Friday. A day when you made progress towards a goal, or set a new goal or imagined a future where this isn't so hard anymore. It's like a habit, just like our bad choices became a habit, you have to make exercise and eating right your new habit.

Make to day a day you can remember. 213 Mon, 21 Sep 2009 09:30:48 EST Back on the wagon... Well, I finally was able to go to the grocery store and get some items that will help me be more in control of my diet. It 's hard at the end of the month when there is no money left and you have to find healthy items with little $. Tue, 15 Sep 2009 13:12:19 EST Weekend 104

Had a great weekend. It was my husband's nephew's birthday party and it was fun. 5 hours in the hot Florida sun. Fortunately the rain stayed away and the kids were able to have a great time. More importantly, I did not go overboard with all the of the food that was around. I didn't even have a piece of cake. Go Me! Mon, 31 Aug 2009 09:15:59 EST Feeling Better I'm feeling better today. I finally got back on the scale last night. I thought I had gained all 10 lbs I had lost back, but it was only 4 lbs. I'm finding that it really helps to input all the food I eat and I can see how far off the mark I am getting. I'm going to keep plugging away. I just really need to start exercising now. I will try walking tonight after dinner and see how that goes. Thu, 27 Aug 2009 10:11:15 EST Sub-conscious Well, here I go again. September 26 will be 6 years since my father passed away. Every year I inevitably gain between 10-15 lbs from the end of July until about now, when I realize what I am doing. I seem to lose all control and will-power but it takes me a month to realize it. I don't want to keep doing this every year, I'll never get anywhere.

Wed, 26 Aug 2009 09:12:05 EST Blah Well, I am still feeling pretty blah today....not followingthe program too well. I will try again on Monday. Wed, 19 Aug 2009 13:45:31 EST Weekend Ills Well, this weekend didn't go that well. I was fairly ill and ended up drinking soda.
